True true, but one man's trash is another's gold. If there's a surprise or micro slide, some GM is going to be chomping at the bit to exploit their newfound opportunity. Moreover, somewhere within their minds will be Michael Penix Jr. and Bo Nix. Someone's gonna call Dan, but will what they're offering get him to move? That will be the question.

I would say it is far less likely than last year for some of the reasons stated.

I don't want a haul, I just want some more top 90 picks.

Honestly, I don't think we're in the right draft position to get a haul, but you never know...

To be honest, I think we'd be remiss to pass up on a Tyler Warren, provided that Carter and Graham are off the board (and maybe McMillan also who, not surprisingly in retrospect, didn't participate).

I don't really view Warren as an elite TE and this class is pretty loaded at that position, so I would be against taking him at 8.

The Titans are willing to trade the 1st pick so I'd say there's no guarantee a qb goes in the top 10.

I dont see many trades this draft and I certainly dont see any rational scenario that someone wants to move up to 8.  I mean for who?  Maybe a qb drops but if that was the case someone would move ahead of us once ward or sanders fell from top 3.  I just dont see it.   Maybe someone falls in love with Tet but again why would they move to 8 and how far back are you willing to fall.  And I dont think teams are looking at tet like some julio jones clone.

There's no clear cut top 10. There's players being way overhyped like Ward, Sanders and Warren for example. This a bad year to have a top 10 pick. The best players are going to be taken in the bottom of the 1st mark my words.

Warren has the potential to be a beast. I don't see what you're not seeing. I've watched him catch, get YAC, hands-catch, run-block angrily, and knows how to get open in the he zone. He's the most legit inline TE that's come out for a while. I think that he has a high floor and a much higher ceiling. If things fall right, he's a top 10 TE from the get.

While that is nice in theory, I think most teams will want to do the same. So the problem becomes that nobody wants to trade up and if they do, it's a buyer's market so they won't offer close to value. I highly doubt we are trading back unless some team in the Early - mid 10s sends us a really good offer

Some one may want to trade up to take the 3rd qb ahead of the saints. I could see the seahawks having some interest

Yeah, that's sort of the thing with evaluations. Not all of them disagree.

I like Warren as a prospect, but under no circumstances would I ever take him in the top 10.

The history of that with TE's is abhorrent.

We need almost any trade back. (Even in a slight loss) All of our guys will be gone. Graham, Carter, Hunter. It's a crap shoot after that, Id say Pierce but he's an ahole. Green, but that's probably the color of his member. Walker, T rex that can't workout. Tet hides cause he's slow. Stewart, 1 sack per year. If we can't trade back uggh! At that point I'd take either of these 4. And forget your Kiper boards Give me Walter Nolan (DT), Nick Emanwari?(safety from S.C.), Tyler Warren (TE) or Matthew Golden (WR) Mykel Williams ehh. I give up. It's just us, every pick above us is valuable. We fall into the next 20 guys. It only hurts a lot. Mommy!

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
    • I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
