They lost Deebo and still cut him there has to be a reason

Money and age.  He is 33 and was due a pretty big chunk. They netted something like $4 mil savings on the cap.

His play has not dropped off at all but admittedly, he probably is shopping for a contender rather than another paycheck.

Could find multiple way to use him. I think he'd be a great addition.

I agree. I don't think he fits with our current youth movement, however. Love the player, though.

We are currently constructed on offense as a ram it down your throat rushing team. He would also add an element of being a reliable safety valve for the QB.

What say you, Huddle? Get one of the last true FB's in the NFL?

I’d love it. We can’t use our QB in those 3rd/4th and 1 goal situations. Chuba might go for 2k with a legit lead blocker and this line. Plus like you said dude can catch and pass block. I think Bryce should be running bootlegs and some waggles and such anyways.
His experience would be asset I think. Hopefully we see some good smart moves today

Lol at best receiver at TE, or RB....

He catches dump offs and the occasional wheel, or depth completion off misdirection.

Age 33, no real YAC potential...I'm good.

They could use Tremble more in some of that role then. Fb/h back is highly underrated imo

Honestly, the style of game that Bryce plays, I could see Kyle being a huge benefit. Having a true H-Back that can stay in and block, catch, and run at times? At this point, I'm all for going more physical on offense, as I was under Wilks and in hoping we would retain him.

I think getting Kyle, drafting Skattebo and Tyler Warren, and picking up a shifty receiver to learn under and around Adam, would be all this offense is missing.

I'd also like Mekhi Becton. I don't want him to start. I just want him as an extra tight end in goal line situations with Tyler Warren and Cam Skattebo lined up in the backfield to take either the tush push or to do a sort of wild cat play. You could also have Kyle back there because he can both block and catch.

That would be a nearly unstoppable force within 5 yards of the goal line, every time.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
