For many moons, many in the Huddle have cried out for Dwayne Jarrett to get an opportunity to be an integral part of the offense. Your wish has been granted. Through thick and thin...being publicly reprimanded by Smitty...deep in the doghouse of the OC...rumored to be on his way out not more than two weeks ago by some Huddlers, Jarrett will step onto the field of New Meadowlands Stadium on September 12, as the Panthers' new WR2.

Will Jarrett be the much desired complement to Steve Smith that will garner the genuine attention and respect of opposing defenses? Only time will tell. But make no mistake; now it's Jarrett's time to shine.

my only concern is the manner is which Fox/Davidson go to him and try to use him. The favorite play to run to Moose last season was that streak route that always went nowhere. Yet, despite Moose showing he could not get open for it they ran it every week. Jarrett can probably run that one better than Moose however......

Davidson/Fox don't inspire a lot of confidence in regards to playcalling across the board and usage of players.

I think he'll do an ok job. He won't be great...but hopefully will be good enough to take some coverage away from Smith. IF he starts the whole season I think he'll put up 40 catches for 600 yards...and thats about it.

2 catches for -32 yards. He catches 1st one for a 5 yard gain. The next one he catches, gets hit, spins around, runs the wrong way, spikes the ball in the end zone, and Giants recover and get a TD.

I bet Fox plays Jarrett like 35 to 40% of the offensive snaps. Most of that percentage obviously will be running plays. They throw to him twice. He catches both.

People will then complain about him not stepping up.
