andrew luck first pick

jim harbaugh the head coach

plus they say we might not getting deangelo williams back but im thinking since goodson is pretty good we can sign dwill back and trade j stew to patriots for there two first round and with the raiders pick we could either get alabama wr julio jones , notre dame tight end kyle rudolph , or iowa de adrain clayborn. and with the patriots pick we could either get notre dame wr michael floyd , ohio state de cameron heyward , or tcu gaurd marcus cannon and plus we can trade clausen for a 1st or second round just thinking of possibilities

Sorry, but you're high if you think we could get two first-round picks for Stewart. We couldn't get a first or second for Clausen either. He didn't go in the first round last year, so why would any team give up a first when he's underperformed this year?

Why did I even bother responding?

It's alright man, ignore all these folks..

I like the optimism, but your scenario is highly unlikely. Stew wouldnt get us a 1st rounder, and while Goodson has shown a lil something, I still would like to see him as our 3rd RB. I think Williams walks, but I'd be a happy man if we resigned him back. I like the idea of getting Julio Jones, but with our 2nd rd pick(if we somehow obtain one), I see us going defense. I like the fact that its a strong possibility of us getting Luck. I've been dreaming of a Franchise QB for this franchise for so long, and we finally might be well on our way to getting one.

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
