Barron can play big nickel, FS and outside. Just depends on what teams think he is. Could be a roamer type and fit a team like LAR or MIN. Could go as high as LVR if they don’t land Jeanty, as low as late R1 IMO

When I heard the evaluator call him a safety I did a double take. I hadn't even considered the position shift in the nfl.

He floated back there a few times for Texas I think.  Think he could be a slot & outside guy matchup dependent.  Envision a jacked up Mike Sainristil, a bit more capable on the outside.   Arguably the best defensive playmaker - really interesting player.

Jeanty to the Jaguars is starting to pick up legitimate steam.  Vegas odds have dramatically increased, Brugler and a few others have switched him as their JAX choice at 5.

Etienne was injured a lot last year and is only one year removed from a 1,000 yd season and they also have Tank Bigsby looking pretty good.  I feel pretty confident they take Mason Graham. I also like Carrol and the Raiders to take Jeanty.  Trading away our second round pick is going to sting because there is a huge difference between 39 and 57 where the former could land you one of the stud edges who fall (Green, Pearce, Ezeiruaku) and the latter would land you good not great prospects like (Landon Jackson, Tuimalao, or Princely).  I am ok with drafting bpa with the first pick rather than reach for Williams though.

Random,  if the Giants do take Carter... and try to trade Kayvon...  I would think about it. If Sanders gets to 8 and they want to trade up from 3(I know that's far) by adding Kayvon and pick swaps in next couple rds and a future 1st or 2nd maybe... Id be game. They pick at the top of each rd, so we'd get talent spill over, a pass rusher with yout/ skill and still have that 34 pick to get a wr etc.

how much turmoil have we seen?  Last line is crazy

Have I mentioned lately how relieved I am as a human being, to care about neither Aaron Rodgers on the Pat McAfee show, nor where Tyler Shough might fall in somebody's mock draft?

For the first time since 2018-19, the Panthers are bringing the same coach/GM/QB back.

I think we all have the same sentiment.

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
