Tez Johnson would be a dream pick in the 5thish.  He is exactly what bryce needs

Honest question because I don't know. Where would this guy fit on our roster? He ran the same 40 as TMac at 5'10 154. I'm not against adding another WR but I think it needs to be an absolute burner low 4.4 high 4.3 guy

Unironically the Saints should say Sanders at this point. He's humbled and will have a competition with Shough for the starting job.

Would be a great pick for them. Wherever he goes, it needs to be somehwere there was going to be QB controversy anyway. Saints have no idea what they're doing this year so may as well

That's actually pretty fuged up.

Maybe this will be an incentive for the kid to get his head on straight and stop buying his own hype. But I doubt it. He's gotta close his inner circle up and get those guys pumping him up out of his ear.

It's his dad and brothers mostly, those guys aren't going anywhere and will try and youtube vlog/grift throughout his whole NFL journey however it goes.

They can't even get Carr to commit to either playing or having surgery. Weird situation, even relatively healthy he's not really starting material anymore but still better than Rattler and the glamour shots backup guy

Yeah I mean at this point it's a 4th round pick for a potential starting QB lol. would be dumb not to take him and just have a wide ass open camp

This is getting to the point in the draft where teams start picking players that may not make the team. But it’s also I place where you can still find real talent. I hope we don’t get cute and instead go True BPA. Would be great if that were a position of need like ilb or S (I like stutsman at ilb) but I’m fine with OL, DT, RB, TE, WR, CB so long as it’s good value for where we pick.

Go for it. Is it possible to have too many young pass rushers?

That would mean cutting/trading all your vets. Do you really want rookies as starters and backup/rotation guys on both sides of your d line? We'd break our own record for rushing yards allowed.

if swinson or kennard is there at our pick thats a no brainer right?

From a value standpoint yes. But we are kinda getting crowded at DE now which i dont like saying cuz you can never have enough pass rushers.

Someone pranked Shedeur pretending to be a GM yesterday. I'm actually starting to feel bad for him.

Yea i saw that, sometimes we forget these are humans with feelings.  I'm sure his world is turning upside down at this point and I hope he is okay mentally

Quick underneath guy. He didn't prep for the combine like others did. He just ran it raw. 4.5 isn't bad in that context. And he's a true wide receiver. Probably only ever played that position his whole football life. I think Diontae Johnson ran a similar time. He'd eat with the monsters on the outside, and be the Thielen replacement/upgrade this team needs.

Agree. But I also hope he's learning from this experience and not just blaming the "haters". His approach to those draft interviews were not the right way to approach this next step. Be a man. Admit to yourself that you were wrong. Learn and move on.

    • Lol. The Texans are literally one of Bryce's six career NFL wins. WTF are you talking about?
    • Yeah, I mean it is a statistical fact and also part of literally a player evaluation. Winston has literally lost dozens of games in his NFL career due to crippling TO's. It's just who he is. Look, it's fun when those insane throws work and he is leading you back from some crazy deficit. But those success are rare. It's why his career GWD count is so low. He's fun but he is fundamentally built to lose games.  If you are talking about a backup QB, you are literally already losing in the first place. That's how you see a backup QB and that's overwhelmingly what they tend to do. Rookie QB's almost always benefit from veteran QB's. Same as literally any other position in the NFL. Why do you think that you so often hear that from the playera themselves? As for Bryce NEEDING one, no he sure as poo shouldn't this late in the game. But he also shouldn't have needed this fuging long to get his fuging footwork straightened out either. Yet here we are.
    • Comfortability is the primary reason. They don't want to hurt Bryce's confidence. But I say if his confidence is that fragile that healthy competition which makes everyone better is enough for them to keep making Andy Dalton rich then Bryce was never going to be the guy anyway. Give me the QB who sees the competition amongst his peers and uses it to take it to the next level. Instead we get the guy who comes out looking like a deer in the headlights against the Texans after we've done everything possible to appease him. Definition of complacency.
