Nobody else has reported on this.  It was a one tweet.   If this was a real thing something would come up by now.   He is literally to my knowledge the only person to mention it.  It's like he is a year behind

Tony Pauline is a good source far as they go, he's been around for 20 years. IDK ifs its true, but he's always one of the first to report news. 

Shoulders are among the hardest injuries to know how to heal it. The whole gambit is use- just rehab, stem cells, just rest, you 100% need surgery, wear this, etc etc. 

It's one of the toughest injuries that you can still play with, as a non-WR/QB. OL and defense guys are always playing with hurt shoulders.

there seems to be a change or two in his personnel preferences.  For example, the safeties.  Another example:  the smallish NTs are out and 330 is back!

Yep. I had 2 shoulder surgeries (same shoulder) in college. What you say is true because the joint is a ball-in-socket joint and not like a knee, which is a hinge joint.  Another reason (this from my orthopedic surgeon) it is more difficult to overcome is because people want and need to walk, so they are constantly rehabbing the knee.  You can protect the shoulder and avoid using it.  And you can play with a banged up shoulder because it does not reduce your game speed much.  As long as I kept my arm in tight (close to my rib cage) I was fine--but when I extended my arm, I felt vulnerable and it was weaker, it seemed. A shoulder issue was common with LBs.  I don't recall seeing a LB in the dressing room without a surgical scar on is shoulder.

The preference for smallish NTs was bizarre to me. I mean, you're already looking for a bit of a unicorn with a NT anyway trying to find a guy who can consistently hold his ground against double teams. Now you want to find a smaller, quicker guy who can do it? Yeah, good luck with that...

I think Jalon Walker is a dawg, a fantastic college player and a good locker room leader. I'm not sure he has the physical abilities to be the 8th overall pick. 

Further tweeners scare me. It is well known that in the NFL not only do you have to be a good all around player but you need at least one elite skill/trait. 

What is Walkers beside his speed rush? So then you're taking a player like Princeley at 8 overall.

We didn’t need T-Mac when we have Legette though. We needed a guy like Golden to learn behind Theilen for a year and become the premier route runner in the NFL with world class speed.

Yeah, I think he's gonna be a player I'm just not sure if he'll ever be the type of player you're hoping for out of a top 10 pick.

I mean, Legette is tracking as more of a #4/5 WR than a #1 WR at the moment.

      When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
