No. I honestly didn't think he was worth more than about a 3rd round pick to begin with and I'm not even sure I would've taken him that high. His lack of production is beyond alarming. The guy has bust written all over him.

I wonder if the Bengals just finally actually watched some tape on him or something? Like oh damn, we fuged up! LOL

ha!

Yeah in the pre-draft process I saw a few people mock him to us.. was not a fan. Reminded me of Travon Walker.

That said we essentially drafted that type of player in Nic Scourton.

Not if you are the bungels, they have seriously fuged this situation up as well as the trey Hendrickson thing.

They've spent all their cap on a QB and two WRs. Re-signing Tee Higgins to a mega deal was a serious mistake IMO. They don't have a defense or an OL. They were in a situation where they had to let him walk IMO.

    • I mean, I think you're being a little hyperbolic with the last statement, but point taken.
    • Pass rush was the biggest issue in tonight’s game, and we were tied for 28th in sacks this season. That is a major area of need that has to get addressed this offseason. I just don’t see a path where there’s a game changing QB you can bring in with where we are drafting and quality of veterans that will be available. We certainly can do better than Dalton as a backup, and should ideally have a developmental guy  (perhaps a day 3 pick this year). We have bryce for one more year on a reasonable contract and then I think 2027 is the year that you reset that position (unless he massively improves).
    • Agreed, honestly basically bringing this group back as a healthy unit would be alright.  Brady Christensen should be resigned to a very reasonable deal with him recovering from the Achilles.  Atleast we're alright at 4 of our 5 spots with Lewis, Mays, Hunt, and Moton, Nijman was decent.  While if we can snag a deal on someone, take a stab, however our resources need to go to Linebacker, Pass Rush and a real option outside Tmac (coker is amazing, but if we can get someone who isnt braindead opposite Tmac, we can fully unleash Coker AND Tmacs full potential, cant move him into the slot if racoon boy is out there licking doorknobs).
