The day he finally unloads the happenings of that entire process will be very entertaining. It will be very unkind to the Tepper's to say the least.

Not until he is done being paid. No idea when that is.

Knew I knew the name was our coach when we drafted BY and he didn't last long but befor he was QB!!

The Panthers had drafted Kerry Collins as their intended franchise quarterback, but Reich was the starter for the first three games until Collins was deemed ready to take the starting job. Reich was sacked nine times on September 3 at Atlanta, a franchise record he shares with Cam Newton.[citation needed]

Glad he excited because I sure am myself.  Some talking heads us winning Div. but first training camp!!

Y’all just be talking. Frank had 36 million reasons not to do this,  he was just awful at his job. He was exactly the same coach the Colts warned us about.

Hope the money lasts, he'll never be a HC again, he has proven who he is at 2 stops.

What a way to go out, now 2 fanbases hate you. Dude is a shyster.

I dont hate him at all, Tepper tied his hands.  Is he a great coach, nah, probably about average if that, but he was fed a load of horse poo and told to go deal with it.  A nfl coach should be able to pick his qb, pick his staff, and not have front office breathing down his fuging neck 24/7.

And now I feel disgusting for having to defend Reich.  But not going to lie a part of me thinks its funny as hell he fleeced Tepper for all that money

100%.

In his heart, he absolutely thought he’d have Stroud. What he may have promised will never be known, but I can’t imagine him taking the gig unless he would be allowed to get ‘his guy’. When BY was the pick and day 1 of camp concluded, Frank went in to ‘I’m too old for this ish’ mode.

To me, His comments show that he holds no ill will with Bryce, but he is less than enamored with the org.

I mean....most fans aren't really enamored with the organization at this point.

Glad you still respect him. If he fleeced just us and had a stellar past coaching, maybe I'd agree.

He was straight garbage in Indy as well, so fug him.

He most certainly was not "straight garbage" in Indy.  He was a meh coach and btw he was dealing with another lunatic meddling owner.  And if we are being honest, we would kill for his results in Indy at this point.  I would say all things considered he did perfectly fine.

I don't think he did it to spite Bryce. Seems like Bryce is a truly decent guy that virtually everyone likes. I do think Frank likely preferred Stroud and was either was led to believe or deluded himself into thinking that he would have a lot more say in the direction we went at QB in the draft. Once we decided on Bryce knowing Bryce didn't fit his system and preferences in a QB it really seemed like the wind went out of Frank's sails and he basically started mailing it in and just waited to get fired and paid out. Maybe I'm misreading the whole situation but that's certainly the way it looked to me from the outside looking in.

Frank is a man of integrity. What you describe is not only unethical but anti-thetical to the person that everyone who has been around Frank says about him.

The offense was bad. Period. The team, I think, was disappointed that Wilkes wasn't retained and that the team didn't build off of the backend of 2022, instead opting for a full rebuild, again.

I member Charles Johnson meeting Frank and he didn't have ANY idea who he was. Charles called the exchange weird and said he got weak vibes from Frank....

And Charles Johnson is potentially the most overhyped, over paid Panthers player in franchise history. So I guess they are even.
