This is sad I hope he has a speedy recovery

Sad? I'd label it more as "unfortunate." It's actually good that it was caught. Hopefully he'll be OK in the future. But I, unfortunately like many people, have seen sad outcomes from cancer, and, so far, this is not sad.

Been a week for harsh off topic news...

The shooting that happened in New York City today was at 345 Park Avenue, the building that houses the NFL's main offices.

No indication that anyone related to the NFL was hurt though. At least, not that I've seen.

can't tell what the twitter post is (twitter is blocked by corporate), but saw the Deion news last night

He's right -- it's a good reminder for everyone to see their doctors regularly and get ALL the things checked out

Believed to have been targeting NFL offices.

I hope Deion will be well now, he's been battling a lot of health issues, as do almost every person of his or our age. Even one of the greatest athletes of his time has had to battle with health issues and thankfully it seems like he's been on top of things.

Learn from him and stay on top of things, especially after 40. You really, really aren't as young as you feel.

I wake up every morning thinking this statement is just a myth.  Getting out of bed proves me wrong every single time.

Used to be I never thought I'd ever have to take more medication than an aspirin every now and then. Now I've got one of those pill sorting things. It doesn't creep up on you... it leaps on you outta nowhere!

He's going to get a huge deal from depends

I'm not sure how it works,  but an article I read said the doctors made a new bladder for him out of part of his intestine.  Pretty amazing stuff actually. He could have probably kept his original bladder and taken a chance with chemo treatments but opted for full removal. Bladder cancer is one of the more common forms not including skin cancers in this country.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
