As a person who has defended Belichick as a late hire, with no time to recruit or attract transfers, I'd like to apologize.

I still think those things are true, but the circus that UNC Football has turned into is comically tragic.  I'm officially grabbing my pitchfork and torch.

There are a hundred ways this staff and GM could address this season and make it not look as bad.  Instead, they've chosen every way to make it look even worse than it is.

If they hire his son I might burn the place down

A big part of this plot was probably handing the torch over but this has been such a poo show he may have instead completely tanked his son's career. I mean, I can't exactly feel sorry for anyone when blatant nepotism blows up in their face but the guy would be infinitely better off back at Washington.

There is so much more to that guy's tweet.

Hopefully some UNC booster has media ties and can get him a deal. Please god. No one is going to want any part of him with that succubus in tow though. The ship has sailed on getting another opportunity with her in the picture.

Program is going to get hit and for a crappy year at that. School is investigating serious recruiting violations.

Worst part is it could've been avoided but the school bot wanted to punish Bubba and hired Bill over his head, which is why Bubba is headed out the door.

It's a joke and a mess from top to bottom.

(AP) — It had been a while since the Carolina Hurricanes had finished practice, with players coming and going from the locker room. Yet Logan Stankoven was still on the ice, leaving a crowd of reporters patiently waiting at his locker. Such is the dynamic for the 23-year-old as the Eastern Conference's top seed heads into Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs to face the Philadelphia Flyers. Stankoven has been rolling at nearly a point-per-game pace going back to mid-March, including scoring in every game of Carolina's first-round sweep of Ottawa. Beyond the immediacy of that spotlight, though, is the other piece of Stankoven's story: the Hurricanes are betting he can keep growing into the role as second-line center, coming after spending multiple seasons searching for an answer there.
