yeah evero should have gotten shitcanned. i know the talent sucks, but you can't run it back when you had the worst defense in NFL history.

It appears they still do. The defense looked in midseason form tonight.

No not talking about scheme or playcalling. I am talking about fundamentals, low energy, poor execution,

I switched to baseball after the fumbled kick. Watching 2nd and 3rd stringers play on a team lacking any depth is a non interest to me.

I liked what Bryce did and Tmac looked good hope it continues that's my only take away tonight.

First thing you've said all night that I actually agree with lmfao how you keep the coordinator who gave up the most points in NFL HISTORY is beyond me

Idk. I’ve liked Morgan up until that. Tbh I talk poo 95% of the time but to be honest , I’ve hated Evero since we hired him. I’ve always thought he was overrated. For some reason I feel like him sticking around was either A) Tepper making an executive call or B) Morgan/Caneles didn’t want to be the bad guy.

Evero rode in on the coattails of Vance Joseph’s defense but anyone who sees past it knows he is a career Safeties coach.

I don't care much about the final score.  Bryce and most of the starters played well when they were in.  And the second quarter consisted of a lot of penalties that cost us.  That can be cleaned up.

I do think that we are going to have to bring in a better backup qb next year.  I don't give a crap about the competing for position nonsense.  Bryce is the starter, we just need someone who can come in and give us a shot at winning if he goes out.

Lol all good I'm just old enough now I dont knee jerk reaction much (helps that I quit drinking two years ago lol)

Evero is straight a straight 🗑  dumpster fire  dude had a very talented Denver D.

All he does is play coverage (was it greenbay were he dropped 10!!!??? Guys in coverage and rushed a safety?) and when he doesn't have the talent to do that he sends incredibly predictable blitzes.....

It's crazy how everyone got scapegoated but him

I'd probably disregard in evaluating overall performance past halftime. Depth remains an issue and so yeah, we'll be looking really bad once the starters go out. McMillan and Scourton looked good out there which is promising in terms of getting early returns from our draft class. Special teams... yikes. That has to be cleaned up. Finally, no major injuries that I know of.

I really hope the play calling was mainly for evaluating our pass game. It reeked of bad Canales when he completely forgets that we have an actual running game. Absolutely cannot be doing that during the season.

Short story.  He cheated on her and got caught.  The other husband caught him and called him on the phone.  Recorded it. Then posted it online.

NC I think has one of those year long separation laws before you can divorce.  So I assume it just a time game before she cleans him out.

Don't have to wait with proven adultery I don't believe

    • I mean, in theory Bryce could get over the hump. That aside, you have to know that due to the situation we are going to give him another year. From some perspectives, it just makes sense. I'm not saying that I agree or disagree with it, but it's not like the draft is chock full of franchise QBs. I'm thinking that only one, the consensus top pick, is destined to be the only one in this draft (and some people don't believe in him). All we can do is sure up the room with an FA (Pickett) and take a swing or two and hope (maybe the dawg Pavia). 2027 should bring better options if it comes to that.
    • Let's be honest here. We have one WR on this team that would be in the top 3 of ANY other team. And he was a rookie last year. I love Coker but he is an often injured UDFA. He wouldn't have even gotten a chance on other teams. The rookie injury would have bounced him around the league for the next 5 years until he stopped trying to make a roster. It's a numbers game for most teams and he would have (at best) been on some team's practice squad. But Carolina has been so devoid of talent at the position, that we didn't have much of a choice. Bryce leaves a lot of questions but to say he hasn't elevated anyone isn't true. No WR has left Carolina since he's started and did better on another team. Not one. And there are several to choose from. Coincidence? Maybe. Probably not.
