Yea, outside of an epic collapse I have a hard time seeing anybody on the staff being canned before the end of the season.

I think that the team is capable of a 7+ win season with the current roster (depending on how the injury bug treats them). As excited as I am for this season, I'm looking even more forward to the following season when the team has another year to gel + develop and one more offseason to finish fleshing out the roster. After years of bad drafts, free agencies, etc... we seem to finally have the bones of a real team.

Thinking about DB-BB3-ARob/Turk being the three DL with Scourton/Umanmielen developing has me even more excited about the defense's evolution over the course of this upcoming season.

I am not so sure about that. I don't know that he is so soley offensively focused as winning focused. But, not really in a productive way.

I get the impression he wants to be like Robert Kraft and take credit for "taking a risk on Bill Belichick" and being successful. 

His track record indicates that in the NFL and in his business life.

I do believe that Evero gets canned before the end of the season and Capers takes over the D. I think the stage is set for Evero to fall on the sword for a 4-7 win season. 

Not saying it would be a set up but I do think if that transpires, the seat under DC might start getting pretty warm, rightly or wrongly. That's my read on Tepper.

I am not at all excited nor am I dreading anything. I just have extremely low expectations so I am just waiting to see what this revision of the roster looks like. 

I FEEL like we are better on paper than last season's team but I wouldn't be remotely shocked if we were as bad or worse. Again, I do think this is the 2nd worst roster in franchise history overall.

What will really make me happy is for some of the big questions to finally be answered(Bryce, Ikey, Horn, etc). I would like to see a real expansion of our core player pool(basically just D. Brown currently). I want to see a couple of hits in free agency and a couple in the draft. If we accomplish those things, I have faith that we are at least moving in the right direction after many, many years doing the opposite.

Tepper has proven he doesn’t care about anyone.  Everyone is replaceable in search of wins.

I think Evero goes first. Next seat that gets hot will be Morgan before Canales IMO if things go south.  I still don’t how Dan emerged out of the Fitterer poo show

Yeah, 27ppg would've been good for the #8 scoring offense in the league last year. If you have a top 10 scoring offense and only win 3 games then your defense has to be a complete poo show.

IDK. That an interesting one to think about. His track record has been to be more patient with GM's than HC's. That's generally why I think DC is more likely to end up on the hot seat first. 

Well, hopefully we just don't find out.

I mean Rhule got 2.5 seasons and I think we all agreed he needed to go. Reich was not an NFL coach anymore and we absolutely made the right decision moving off of him. I don’t think Tepper wants to move off another HC.

Jaycee Horn said once he gets his stitches out, he’s good to go. Not sure if that will happen before HOU practice and preseason game.

Who here didn't want Rhule and Reich fired?

Blame Tep for hiring them but I'm glad he realized it was not working and investing more into their path as HC's was senseless.  I think he was more than patient with coaches and GM's who were doing a horrible job.

In many instances he overpaid by a large amount to get the people he's deemed will be successful or players his coaches wanted.  Tepper ok'd some huge contracts based on his GM or Coach's opinion. 

Teddy 2 gloves (3yr @ 63 million with 40 guaranteed) because OC Joe Brady worked with him in NO and wanted him.  The Bucs started looking at signing him causing us to give him a bloated contract to ensure we got him. Traded after 1 year.

Traded a 2nd for Darnold and gave him his 5th year extension before he ever played a down for us.

Rhule begged for Baker Mayfield and Tepper refused until we got him at a bargin and even with only paying 5-6 million for him, he sucked under that staff.

Ben McDodo was behind the request for Ian Thomas's extension because he fit his offense.  Never underestimate the lies or how stupid a coach on a short leash will be.

Paid an insane amount of money for the dream team coaching staff lead by Reich.  Reich was fired halfway through the season and the rest of the offensive coaches followed at the end of that year.
