I was way more impressed when I saw it live, I misjudged where they were on the field and thought it was more like a 58-59 yarder.  Nope, 52.

Yeah, I thought it looked gross lived but then when they showed where he kicked it from on the replay, it got worse.🤣🤣🤣  That looked like fuging Eddy Piniero out there.

He's been really the only positive today. If I split hairs, maybe Etienne was a positive. Thornton was solid last week as well

Etienne has definitely flashed. Sam Roberts as well imo. Ransom and Richardson are showing well for young guys but one of them needs to separate themselves from the other & Nick Scott.

Sometimes it's because of the QB and sometimes it's because the receiver isn't getting separation and even an in-stride throw comes replete with an immediate hip tackle.

For sure,  that’s why I said it’s just in part on BY.   Another part is Canales.  Every O he has been part of hasn’t been about setting up YAC.

heck that one broken down play where BY ended up scrambling for 2?  WTF you running that horrible play in preseason for, for a team that needs to find a grove.  That’s the playcalling and staff not helping the team out in preseason.  Only 2 dudes running routes and they are both deep action to the same spot of the field.  Hate the design of that for this group and this setting

No. Dude, just no. LOL

Sanders had good separation and had to slow down allowing Stingley back into the play. Stop embarrassing yourself.

The throw wasn't terrible. It was catchable. But when you're throwing to a subpar starting TE covered by an All-Pro DB these are the results unless everything is perfect. I'm not even trashing Bryce here. He threw a catchable ball. This is why I say that you're coping. You're just not watching this like an educated football viewer.

Lol, YOU brought up the QB. All I said was calling that a “contested” catch was letting the TE off the hook for the obvious drop and you start going on about subpar qb this and all pro db that. Jeez if you’re going to try to take this snooty approach of attacking the person and not the argument you should at least try to avoid such obvious lies. Gee I wonder why this place is such a shitshow with mods like this. “That should have been a catch and the TE dropped it” - “Durr cope cope you not educate me know football”

    • It will be really interesting to see how both sides handle this. I'm sure the team would love to get him signed to a 4 year deal based on his output so far and some potential factored in, i.e. something like a 4 year $30 million contract.  But I could see his agent telling him the best path is to take the one year offer, put up a big year next year and then really cash in. The team also has to keep in mind T-Mac's 2nd contract, which likely will happen after the 2027 season assuming he keeps improving as expected.  Even if we could get him on a budget 4 year deal for what he could become, the problem then becomes when he wants to re-negotiate in 2 years during the same summer we will extend T-Mac, and you don't want to spend that much on WRs in one offseason, just see the Bengals this last year. Taking everything into consideration, I'm thinking the 1 year deal and then getting him to sign a 4-5 year deal after hopefully say a 800ish yard season next year might be best for our cap situation and separate his and T-Mac's negotiation periods.
    • And yet jax made it no further than we did, and its very possible the Pats don't either. I think it speaks more to the overall down year for the nfl as far as having great/dominant teams, every team this year has fatal flaws that can be exploited
    • Ehhh I agree the nfc is stronger this year but their really werent any truly dominant teams this year everyone is flawed, I think the narrative for the NFL this year will to try ahd force a Josh Allen SB win
