OK people, I'm in the Wilmington area, and Fox is Abysmal using an antenna. I just decided FUGGIT and purchased NFL+ only to find out that my local game is blocked! WTF? Is this a preseason thing or are all the panthers' game going to be blacked out?

NFL+ will have a replay of the game up at some point after the original game has ended. A few days later, you can watch the all-22 and isolate the players. When i am bored, i watch the condensed games all done in about 30 minutes with no commercials. This live broadcast of the Panthers, was just plain misery so you dodged that bullet.

Agreed on today's game.

I ordered NFL+ for the first time this year.  After reading the features, my understanding is ONLY the "premium" allows replay.  The "regular" NFL+ does not have that.  I didn't realize that until after.  I may end upgrading.  However, after watching enough of the first two preseason games, it might be a fug no.

You do this for Panthers games in the Tepper era?

I think I'd rather do this for fun

Oh my bad; I have had the NFL+premium for so long plus I did not realize there was a difference. The premium cost about 99.00 per year. I see the hi-lighted sections above are only for premium. It is a just ok service and not completely reliable and when you need customer service it can be difficult. I am sorry for misspeaking. Thank you for the information!

The one good thing about being a non NC based Panthers fan these days is YouTube's Sunday Ticket for the regular season.

$450 is a lot for the season, but it's still much less than I used to spend over the course of the season at BWW to be able to watch us every week when DirecTV had the package.

Plus, it's amazing for Fantasy as I'm able to get 6 games going at once, one of the local TV games, one on my laptop, and then the quad box on the projector with 4 more games (and can even get a 7th game going on my phone if needed).

    • I wonder if they'd consider trading Rasheed Walker to a team that needs tackle help but missed out in the draft?
    • LOL. This is such a Panthers fan take.  Anyone who falls to us must suck because some other team didn't take them before.  We got lucky with Lemon, Thieneman, and Freeling all falling to us (honestly any of the three is a A+) but the WR and S positions are much deeper than the LT position in this draft.  We got the LT w/ the most upside at 19.  Mauigoa played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the nfl.  Spano played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the NFL due to short arms.  Blake Miller played RT in college and is not as good as Freeling.  Proctor is a true LT but his ability to handle quick edge's worries me (see Icky).  Freeling is a true LT and a gifted pass protector.  Many think he has a very high ceiling and will benefit from not having to start right away.  This is how you build a franchise.
    • After watching Cam get killed for years behind a bad Oline and having to watch the 2021 and 2023 Olines I will never complain about this team putting resources into that spot.  We got a true LT who could really push Rasheed Walker for the day 1 job. Go back and watch Iceky's draft profile from 2022 and all the talk was Ickey would be an all-pro guard in a zone blocking scheme, but he could play LT in a gap power run scheme. That's why Ickey looked really good when Wilks took over and we just started running gap run plays and just mauled people up front but under Canales we've been more of a zone running team. Ickey can survive at LT with his pass blocking but his true strength will always be his ability to just move guys in the run game and that's a skill set that's better used at guard.  Take another OT later on day 3 to learn from Moton to take over RT in a couple of years and let Walker and Freeling battle it out for the day 1 LT job then next offseason trade one of Hunt of Lewis and let Ickey move inside to guard.
