Team will never be good as long as Tepper owns the team

We are still reaping what we sowed from the Bryce trade.

In that draft I wanted to trade down and do the following:

1. Re-sign Darnold

2. Re-sign Wilks

3. re-sign Foreman

4. Get Dalton Kincaid/O’Cyrus Torrance

5. Draft Charbonnet

6. Draft Mimms

Now clearly this isn’t a detailed plan but it is an outline of what likely would have turned into a successful core of an outline for building the talent of the team.

All of this is in my post history as well. But it’s sad that my decision making, on paper, three years ago, would have been better than what we’ve seen from Tepper’s meddling.

Now I’m onboard something else that will not happen and that is offer to ship a fifth and Jack Plummer to the Browns for Shedeur. Either way, they will be the 3rd/scout team QB with the difference being that Shedeur could develop into an NFL starter on an extremely friendly deal that could result in the ability to build out a core of talent on this team.

We’ve also seen what Canales can do with at minimum, NFL QB traits.

We've sucked mightily since Dipper touched this team....its been a slow painful decline to the bottom...I no longer get pumped for games...I haven't been in the forum for 8+ months... faces have change but its still the same sht....sounds like this season will be no different.

Its not a coincidence that Commanders were in the exact same position as us, but are on the up and up because they actually got a competent owner who let the football guys do their job. And now look, they turned their franchise around in one offseason. Owner hired a BEAST of a GM in Adam Peters (who I wanted so fuggin badly for years now), who then hired a competent HC that coached in a superbowl, who then went out and found their franchise QB..........all in one go. It took them 1 fuggin year to figure it out, meanwhile we're in what................year 6 now of Tepper and still nothing has changed?

The team is clearly under the negative thumb of Tepper. The boys were 6-2 on the way to a magical run in 18 and then Tepper happened. That isn’t a coincidence. It’s been ass, minus when Steve wilks had this team galvanized and was cooking until Horn’s injury.  Tepper could have made the smart move and kept him but went with Frank which is was the worst hire on gods green earth.  Tepper can’t get out of his own way and will forever - Dan Snyder his piece of poo ass - away this team. It the Cowboys moto. It makes money. Wins don’t matter.

It does feel like we are the new Redskins of the NFL. No matter what we do we suck because our owner is horrible. At least I have Canes and college football and basketball to look forward to.

Even fuging Dan Snyder accidentally made it to the second round of the playoffs once when he wasn't busy forcing cheerleaders to grind on old pervs or they wouldn't get their driver's licenses and phones back.

Even having a winning season seems like an impossible dream now.

    • if  ANYONE actually goes & looks at the FACTS on rookie Qb's after 2 full seasons as a starter in the NFL & they are still well below average do they rarely ever actually become top tier Qb's & instead most likely either do not recieve a second contract & or become life long backups...just saying
    • So he became GM and decided not to address the weakness in the QB room following one of the worst rookie QB performances in NFL history?  There were options last season other than signing Dalton to a 2 year deal. Brissett and Jones by a wide margin, both of whom outplayed Bryce, Wilson, Winston, hell even Rivers off the couch was more exciting at the QB position. The time to address the failure in the QB room was last year but instead people on the Huddle cheered when we brought Dalton back then cheered when we were able to get anything for him after they finally realized he was washed up like a few of had been saying all along and got poo'd for even mentioning.  This year, the options were more limited obviously, especially since we lost Icky. It changed the dynamic of our draft. I think we were stuck this year keeping Bryce, but i still think giving him a 5th year option for what has amounted to replacement worthy performance was the wrong move. Why guarantee 25m if you're planning to replace him? You think he's going to want to be a bridge QB? Hell no. He's going to want out and we'll end up cutting him if he has another lackluster season because no one is trading for him with that price tag.  Were there better options as far as production available. A couple. Were there guys available with more physical tools than Bryce, Pickett or Grier, you damn well better believe there were. I've been saying all along, you always keep looking for your 1b. Bryce has yet to prove he can be a starter. Keep looking for someone who may. Put competition in camp. Let the best QB lead the team. Stop settling for less than mediocre.
