Official NFL Cuts Tracker

Deadline for roster cuts is Tuesday, August 26th.

At this moment (Friday, August 22nd) the only interesting names I see are...

• K Caden Davis (BUF)
• RB Ameer Abdullah (SF)
• WR Equanimeous St. Brown (SF)
• WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (NO)
• LB Khaleke Hudson (TEN)

Abdullah, St. Brown, Peoples-Jones I don't exactly think we should cut anybody for but it was just interesting seeing those names. Khaleke Hudson was on the Panthers' practice squad last year I believe and might have even gotten called up? And of course, Caden Davis just because of the question mark at kicker this season for the team.

We are good at WR. There are other obvious positions we need to look at.

Ngl, I know WR is probably our deepest unit, but Jahdae Walker from Chicago looks like a fuging baller if the Bears let him go.  Super smooth, athletic, great body control and awareness.

Well damn. In light of the Thielen rumor, I was trying to see whether John Metchie would be cut, but he was traded to the Eagles almost a week ago.

SO far, the only cut candidate I MIGHT want to consider is Chad Muma, a former third rounder with the Jags.  However, the Panthers are getting some smoke from a few LBs that was unexpected, so I am not sure.  Muma is 26 and may just need a different scheme, but I would call him mediocre vs the run and pass, and slightly below mediocre rushing the passer.  I still think there is potential there....call me cra
