We are returning the best edge the nation (Stewart) and two stars in the backend (Kilgore/DQ Smith) who will be better than Emanwori.

Peak offseason euphoria to think y’all have two safeties better than a guy who just went #35 overall.

Buddy you clearly didn’t follow Emanworri at SC. He sucked until last year.

We instantly got a boost in performance when Kilgore spelled him - last season was an anomaly.

@me in a few months

I am referencing the fact Stewart is literally the only returning starter on your defensive front 7.   So yeah, the defense taking a step back is something the Gamecocks would be looking at this year as realistic.

oh, and best in the nation? Not sure he is best in your conference or even your state.  I mean, he is talented.   But maybe you need to bump them breaks on that D.

SC’s finest

I mean, I think that actually is ....the perfect post.  I don't disagree.  That about sums it up on so many levels.

but best in the nation? He had 6 sacks last year. Not sure he is the consensus best in that conference or state yet.  Lot have the Texas kid and Clemson kid ahead of him as of today.  Depends who you listen to.  But I mean, his potential is through the roof.

Yeah I gassed him up. He has star power but needs to put it together.

I like Sellers.  Same reasons I like Cam.  My son has meet him as well over there and liked his whole energy.  Seems like a good dude, so why not pull for him.

but yeah, he is a no good dirty Gamecock at the end of the day and hope he loses every game as well.  I can be both people.  It's the principle of the matter.

Plus the spectacles are awesome.  I'd love it if we drafted him.

The best edge is at Auburn thank you very much.

I like the WR pickup. 6'4 205 caught 8 passes for 147 yards in preseason.

I'd rather have 5'11, 190 lbs, can run routes better than the corners can.

Why does Canales want jump ball receivers? What is his angle here? Bryce played in a high percentage offense in college, with guys who were both fast and excellent route runners. So he comes here and we do the exact opposite.

We have that. His name is Jimmy Horn Jr.

Because Canales runs a chunk ball O scheme.  It’s what he did in Tampa.  What he did in Seattle.   And he largely is just going to be that.

he acquires talent that fits that

and Bryce Young will never fit that

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
