I thought Renfrow was the type of receiver Bryce needed. I was wrong. What Bryce actually had to have is a CMC. A back out of the backfield that can take a three yard pass and do something with it routinely.

I don't think Renfrow is ready to be an AT replacement yet. Not sure he ever will be.

What Bryce needs is to take of this uniform, burn it in a barrel, and go sell used cars

That fumble should have been called down.

It's not a good day but a load of things were also not his fault.

Come on, that was a fumble.  Perfect peanut punch.  Knee not down.  You might could call it a great defensive more than a bad Bryce play but a clear fumble.

and Bryce’s worst play of the day won’t actually be logged.  Thanks to Renfrow away from the play.  But that should in reality get a QB of his caliber benched for the next week (it won’t but a well run team is shelving a QB).

I will say, as bad as Hooker is...he can't be THAT much worse than this.

Yeah, give Bryce that 80 yard pick six he earned and this is about as bad as he's ever looked and that's a pretty significant accomplishment considering how bad he's looked in the past.

Team has felt flat for the majority of this game.

That's a coaching issue.

I don't blame this on Canales. He doesn't have a QB that play at a high level in the in the NFL. He didn't pick Bryce. He inherited him. You give Canales a top 10 QB and we'd have a legitimate shot at the winning the NFC South

I think this team often appears flat because they realize that they are overmatched at the QB position in almost every game they play. And, if  Bryce starts off poorly they realize  that literally have almost no chance to win.

    • If Carolina already realizes Young isnt it, then they have to position themselves to find his replacement.  Theres nothing in this next draft and Arch manning looks terrible, it will probably come via trade in which they need draft capital for.  Top 5 pick in next years draft would be very lucrative to teams willing to unload a QB.  Who? No idea.  I feel the tank is on and everyone but Young knows it.
    • He was Pete Carroll's passing game coordinator.  He was Pete Carroll's WR coach.  He was Pete Carroll's QB coach.   That's his coaching tree.   That's where he saw success.   You can't say that is meaningless......when he clearly took THAT knowledge and applied it to his OC gig in Tampa.  And we are seeing that here.  I'm not giving him credit for anyone's work.  I'm just acknowledging how Dave Canales was made....and you literally can see how he has applied what he learned from Pete....in Tampa and now Carolina.  Because he is playing Pete Carroll Seattle ball (which was always west coast Foxball).
