i think if i wasn't getting laid off in a few weeks i would probably be more engaged. i just don't have room in my head for the kind of poo we've got going on.

seriously, it would have helped me out if we could have this one year where we didn't suck just to give me something to look forward to. now it's just another negative thing i've got going on. i'd really just not bother with it anymore.

Best of luck to you and better days in real life ahead, man.

Great post OP - looking at all the games there is a lot of disappointment from other clubs too. For me what hurt was we (I) had a  lot of 'hope' after what seemed a good off season. I don't mind the 'errors' so much as those will happen...but little things like the snap of the ball, getting feet down after a catch...these are head scratchers. I don't know why our defensive coordinator is still here...I don't know what anyone sees in our safety Scott. Doesn't give me a lot of 'hope' for the rest of the season.

But...Keep Pounding is our motto. 'Fans' that bet against their own team...'fans' that don't even watch? 'Fans' that root against our team because (insert / hate Tepper, hate whoever).. Really unsure why they even come to this board.

Look at Miami. They had a bad day. Anyone can have a bad day. In 3 months, the Jags could be the best team in the NFL. Who knows? Maybe we'll see them in the SB this year.  Lol. Ok. I spit. You know what I mean. Let's wait a couple of weeks before we burn the house down. That is all. Continue firing and benching everyone.

    • BPA in draft all the way. Address your biggest needs in free agency.
    • Exactly.  You let him play out next season and continue to develop Thorton.  Jackson’s earned his next contract, but his age and the risk of tying up such a large portion of the payroll at one position leads me to believe that we’ll let him walk. In all likelihood, we’ll draft another CB, or two, and bring in some journeymen to fill the roster void, between now and the start of the 2027 season.  That’ll create more balance financially across the roster enabling us to invest in other areas.
    • As far as the NFCS … I think this division will be hotly contested the next couple of years.   I am tending to pay more respect to both Atlanta and the Saints n terms of how strong they will be moving forward, than not.    I am mixed on Ryan but think they have a decent roster to start with. I don’t think he blundered hiring Stefanski. And that offense can be dangerous with a QB. Plus, defense is arrow up. No 1st round pick, WB issues will dull their effectiveness. Question is, to what degree?   I think Moore is going to be a good HC and can overcome tape that people have on Shough. They need a lot but they were playing with people. Just the way you want to see all the way to the end.    Not sure about Tampa they have Mayfield but I don’t think they can maintain their success and Bowles is not going to last much longer. They have to go through all that. Gonna be tough once it starts. Might already have started.    For us I feel pretty good about Morgan. But less so about our offense, we have some short term RB and OL issues and those things are critical given what we are working with at QB.  Overall, mixed. Like a lot of what I see but some major question marks remain.
