Bryce Young is a problem — what would you do if you were Dan Morgan?

There are only 3 options for bryce/panthers after this season

1. Extend him

2. Pick up the 5th year option basically tying him to the team for 2 more years

3. Trade him

4. And College football analyst

Bryce has run out of runway.

Added one more

I'd argue his value is at rock bottom currently.

And hell no to all those QBs you listed.

Sorry, man. The tank is here. Embrace it for the 2026 #1

I can't watch 16 more games of this - you're literally not even trying to win games and what are you actually tanking for?

This is a mediocre QB Draft class. You'd have to get yourself excited about hugely flawed prospects.

You say it's mediocre before this CFB season has been played. There will be a star to rise

Build the damn team, this team is so qb thirsty it’s been draining the talent around the team for sometime now

if Morgan can’t draft well replace him, Canales should also be on the hot seat too.

Find a philosophy or identity, build it through the draft and free agency, then go QB hunting

we been ass backwards as a franchise since 2020

It’s true but last year was the same deal.  Too early to tell but Ward would not be successful in Carolina either.

Good oline, WR options, young TEs and good RB group. It's not perfect but a decent QB should be putting up 20+ points a game. No idea about Ward yet but a decent backup level QB should be competitive most weeks even with a limp D. It just feels that way because the scheme is so limited with the current QB ane his limitations.

I mean it's more than too early he has played a single game lol. He could be another Anthony Richardson or he could take his lumps and become a better QB for it. Here in Carolina there are multiple problems but I'm tired of the hit dog mentality. There are QB's who could at least have this team competitive. I've never expected a winning season but we don't have to be so downbad we are getting blown out by previously 4 win teams.

I was more getting at the idea that a top pick isn't necessarily going to land a better QB prospect.  We can’t evaluate talent.

We already have a bad vet on the team. They will let Young crash and burn one more game before he's benched again and will ride Andy for as long as they can until the season is over. If Andy goes down then I'm not sure what they do.

Forfeit the season and give us all some relief.

Or pick it if it's there. I agree but I still expect them to do it the right way even knowing they won't. It's why thr huddle is usually right more than the team...

    • Yeah. That start to his career was about as bad as it can get. In New York, Meat grinder press corps, of the first degree,    When he came here he was on OC 3 - in year 3.  And people in this fan base that think they are smart, could not take that stuff into account.  Now, most of the smart ones are not Bryce Stans but Bryce gets 4 damned years free pass. At least 3  The fail of the organization AND fan base in general, fuging shamefully short sighted,  And the choking thing, players have to fail before they succeed. With very few exceptions. Last year was really his first meaningful, high stakes game. Okay, he didn’t play well. They learn from that, or are supposed to. You don’t throw out a guy with all those tools and with his rocky did him no favors background for not being perfect right away.  He might suck in the SB, but he proved a ton this year.    If we’d have had any patience he was the guy to use it on, not Bryce Young.
    • Darnolds OC when he was drafted was Jeremy Bates who was fired. He hasn’t had an nfl job since then. his next head coach was Adam gates who was fired after two years and isn’t in the league anymore. then he gets traded to the Matt Rhule panthers. His first OC was a hired WAY too early Joe Brady who was fired midseason and basically had to restart his career as a get back coach in Buffalo. then it was Jeff Nixon, who’s currently the head coach for Syracuse. the next season was the best he’d ever looked, and it was the first time he had an actual nfl offensive coordinator calling plays for him. The less said about Matt Rhule the better. then he sits a year and ends up in Minnesota and the rest is history. maybe he just had poo awful coaches for the start of his career. Maybe we should be trying to find someone who flamed out on the jets. one who’s a religious weirdo  and likes to bang married women  that’s right baby, Zach Wilson redemption tour starts now
    • Your last paragraph, painful. We suffered it all with Rhule and Fitterer and were rewarded with Bryce.  I’ll stop there, I have made hundreds of posts that say what I would say if I continued. 😂
