If the Panthers lay an egg at home vs Atlanta...

I think you will see some sort of shakeup.  I don't know what that is.  But the boo birds will most definitely come out and be loud.  And historically, David Tepper HATES that.

I think if you read the room, the Panther fanbase will not have tons of patience this Sunday.   Hard to guess what it could be as how we lay an egg would influence the shakeup.

I think Evero is in play (I personally think he is only employed to be a sacrificial lamb)

I think Canales turning playcalling over is in play (we saw those orders before)

I think if Bryce has 2-3 turnover day with some ugly ones a game off could be in play

If you can hear the boos loudly on TV, in the stadium and we get embarrassed, Tepper is going to have a very stern Monday morning meeting.

Jalon walker strip sack along with three other sacks by the falcons. Bryce fumbles the ball one other time on a scramble/run.

Bryce throws two more interceptions.

Leads the NFL in turnovers after three games and the Falcons win 52-13. "Couple of fg's and a cheap garbage time td".

For the sake of the few fans that will be in attendance I hope it doesn't get too out of hand. But with the injuries to the OL and what looks to be a brewing culture of guys making business decisions on defense I expect it to get ugly. This same Falcons defense made JJ McCarthy look quite awful after an impressive finish against the Bears.

The Bucs still look solid. Atlanta looks like their on the way up with a promising young QB and a good D. The Saints look better than expected but still probably a bottom 10 team. Then there's us.

I am just amazed the Saints have had a chance to be 2-0 if things just went a little differently.
Saints, Falcons and Bucs look way more competent then the Panthers at this point.

The Falcons having a good defense was not on my bingo card this year. I am so used to them having an amazing offense and a meh or bad defense.

Jalon Walker would have his coming out game against us.

I mean they sacked McCarthy 6 times and hit him 11 times. Forced 3 fumbles with one lost and two interceptions.

How do you think that looks against the Panthers down two starting lineman against Bryce Young who's 5-10/5-11?

I think he's given up. No quality picks spent on defense the past 3 years. No spending on defense the past 3 years. Offense that can't fight its way out of a wet paper bag. No help. No hope. The worst owner in the history of sports at the helm. Kind of reminds me of Reich. Just waiting for the axe to fall and keep cashing that paycheck.

I don’t know about history of sports, he has a pretty good soccer team right now. Going for longest winning streak this week.

    • We have seen Bryce get outplayed by all manner of QBs, from UDFAs to second round picks.  If we actually scouted any QBs it would not be a difficult task to upgrade from Bryce, you guys act like he is even decent. He is one of the worst starters league wide stop making excuses.
    • if  ANYONE actually goes & looks at the FACTS on rookie Qb's after 2 full seasons as a starter in the NFL & they are still well below average do they rarely ever actually become top tier Qb's & instead most likely either do not recieve a second contract & or become life long backups...just saying
    • So he became GM and decided not to address the weakness in the QB room following one of the worst rookie QB performances in NFL history?  There were options last season other than signing Dalton to a 2 year deal. Brissett and Jones by a wide margin, both of whom outplayed Bryce, Wilson, Winston, hell even Rivers off the couch was more exciting at the QB position. The time to address the failure in the QB room was last year but instead people on the Huddle cheered when we brought Dalton back then cheered when we were able to get anything for him after they finally realized he was washed up like a few of had been saying all along and got poo'd for even mentioning.  This year, the options were more limited obviously, especially since we lost Icky. It changed the dynamic of our draft. I think we were stuck this year keeping Bryce, but i still think giving him a 5th year option for what has amounted to replacement worthy performance was the wrong move. Why guarantee 25m if you're planning to replace him? You think he's going to want to be a bridge QB? Hell no. He's going to want out and we'll end up cutting him if he has another lackluster season because no one is trading for him with that price tag.  Were there better options as far as production available. A couple. Were there guys available with more physical tools than Bryce, Pickett or Grier, you damn well better believe there were. I've been saying all along, you always keep looking for your 1b. Bryce has yet to prove he can be a starter. Keep looking for someone who may. Put competition in camp. Let the best QB lead the team. Stop settling for less than mediocre.
