Don’t bench him.  Keep this poo wagon rolling.  Crash and burn baby.  Crash and burn.

Nope, no bail outs this season. I hate it for the kid, but this is where he proves he's a QB1 in the NFL or not.  We HAVE TO KNOW going into the offseason if a different QB! is in the plans for '26.  Can't keep waffling on Bryce. He's either firmly entrenched as QB1 or we move on.

If Bryce were 7'1" the stream for today's game wouldn't keep crapping out on me during a play and never during a commercial break.

C’mon man. I’m probably more of a Bryce apologist than most on this board, but he’s a massive part of the problem right now. Is the supporting cast great or even good? No. Are the coaches preparing the team and putting that cast in the right situations to succeed? No. Have injuries depleted and disrupted continuity along the interior offensive line? Yes. Is it his fault that the front office traded away his most reliable WR, selected an athlete who can’t play WR in Round 1 last year, and his second most reliable non rookie WR is injured? No.

But Bryce is simply not performing well enough. He’s not the worst QB to ever step on the field like some paint him. But he’s not playing confidently, he’s not executing, and because of that, he’s not mitigating his personal physical limitations. And those are limiting what the offense can do. He’s certainly not solely to blame and all of these things feedback into one another and reinforce one another. But he has got to shoulder a lot of the blame.

The nfl game is simply too big for Young

it just is

they have no alternative other than an ancient Dalton or Hooker

I’ll take either at this point

btw, he probably would’ve looked this bad last week too but the unicorn of special teams and defense playing well happened

put young, and the fans,  out of his misery

Honestly, I hope the Patriots score here so that it makes it OK just go ahead and put Andy Dalton in.

All of them need there paychecks docked, none of them deserve to get paid for playing this have. For a professional team to get there a** handed to them like this when you get paid millions of dollars is completely unacceptable. There needs to start being serious consequences for piss poor performance. They need to realize there are consequences unfortunately without them most guys probably don’t care because even though they suck still making those millions.

It's been time to move on.

    • It appears that he sees things differently than the QB and OC, so Cam's advice is spot on. It isn't about number of targets, it's about quality of targets. Trust and being on the same page. BY doesn't know how to anticipate what XL is doing. And XL doesn't like where BY is placing passes. One on one film study would go a long way. More for BY than XL though. He has to adjust to XL. I really don't think XL can adjust on the fly.
    • If the team shows improvement, then he shouldn't be in danger of losing his job - even if the record doesn't reflect. This was a very young team (with a lot of new vet starters) that overperformed last season. Somebody's doing something right. Consistency is key with so much youth. And we're potentially looking at new starters at ILB and FS. Those are positions that take time to fully understand the defense. ILB calls the front 7. Safety calls the back 4. Injuries at WR and IOL killed the offense last season. Depth needs to be upgraded. Same with Edge. I think they would have won more games if Pat Jones doesn't go down early. Be smart with the roster and draft. Trade players for assets when it's time to pay them more than they're worth - yes, that includes BY if he doesn't make a pretty big jump. That's one of the many reasons Tillis is as important as anyone to the future of this team.
    • He had heart surgery a while back he looks Fraile I hope he is okay
