I would imagine Bryce is a guy that does well behind the scenes, possibly impresses in film study, etc.

XL on the other hand....I am gonna guess he doesn't impress basically anywhere.

Maybe. We can only speculate.

But I say let the young wide receivers and tight ends sink or swim without question this season. Right now we just need someone that can deliver them passes beyond 10 yards more often than once or twice game.

Dak will turn XL into a top receiver in that offense.

That will be the worst thing for us.

Wouldn't shock me one way or another.

I'm just not on board with moving any young players this season. Even Bryce Young. Deal with that after the season. Just bench him turn the page and go to the next guy. See how your receivers and tight ends respond. This is what I had always assumed it would be the last several months. A developmental season for everyone including our head coach. Now see what transpires and figure out who is worth keeping.

Respectfully, this guy is gonna do next to nothing

Mainly because Bryce does not throw the ball well down the field. I think he has a niche, but probably not with Bryce. He’s going to have to find little holes in the zone to be successful with BY

If I’m gonna be nice I require more than 5 wins per season.

I think it's been well established that that is not going to happen under the current management. Its like booing at the Special Olympics kid. Everyone knows he's not going to win so there's no need to be mean to him. It will be over soon.

XL has had a rough go of it to start the season, but he was open a lot last year and looked better once Andy started at QB. It takes three years for WRs to really break out normally, but everyone is used to Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson types now. Look how good Chase looked last night. Also, go Jimmy this is the chance everybody has clamored for him to get.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
