Right which keeps me believing that when he eventually goes elsewhere and is in a much better situation you’ll see more of the good and less of the real bad 

The bad plays will always show up here and there but a better situation will limit those

Exactly. For every nice throw he has, he has 2-3 bad ones minimum. That’s the definition of a backup QB.

Sam Darnold had a decent highlight reel while with the Jets

You still saw some of those head scratching plays in Minnesota but it was a lot less often which overall made him look pretty solid
