No

Enjoy the win(s), but eeking out wins against 3 of the worst teams in the league isn’t going to get you to the playoffs.

After next week, the Falcons are the 2nd worst team we play the rest of the season, 3rd worst is a playoff contender in the Seahawks.

It would be nice if these game spark us to be competitive the rest of the season, but even with a win next week, playoff talk is WAY too premature.

Bills, Packers, Rams, 49ers, Seattle, Tampa x2, Saints x2, Atlanta.

Not a single game down that stretch vs a bottom 10 defense

Tampa has a handful of games against really bad defenses yet to come so we would would have to find about 6-7 wins in the above set of games as wildcard teams generally flirt with around 10- 11 wins.

The Panthers are going to destroy them.   You have to believe.  🙂

    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
    • I'd give anything to go back to a 4-3 but we are so removed from having the pieces for that. All because Tepper wanted to force this 3-4 on all our coaches.
