Just when we thought it was over

I agree but also the teams we lost to are 10-6 combined. So I think we are middle of the pack a little lower. But atleast we are .500 percent. I think the difference is that we are stopping the run and running the ball and not turning it over all the time. So I believe there is some optimism due to Ricos play and that allows us to throw the ball. Big ups to the Oline though. They have done great.

One of our issues is that we've never embraced that logic. How many years have we had to endure people like you telling us how every game matters and that we're building a winning culture by winning these games that are ultimately just knocking us down the draft board?

I’m more worried about your logic. It’s early Oct, we are .500, and you’re upset people are happy about a win because we should be losing for draft position. I mean what

I'm not upset. I'm just done being duped.

We're beating bad teams while our backup RB is playing out of his mind looking like the best player in the league. Is that trend like to continue or likely to translate into beating teams that aren't bad? I very seriously doubt it.

If y'all want to celebrate being stuck in purgatory be my guest.

I just stopped watching. I haven't watched the last 10 quarters. Don't plan on changing that. I'm out as long as we're stuck in this Bryce purgatory. It's just wild watching from the sidelines while people embrace the purgatory. Most everyone agree that the worst possible outcome this season was the not get a definitive answer on Bryce but to win just enough games to give hope and have us stick with the status quo moving forward. Currently that's exactly how we're tracking.

I get it

we all get it, or should

Young is not drake maye, he never will be

“young

he limits the playbook

he holds the ball far far too long

he doesnt see the field

he is afraid ti throw downfield

we cant expect 200 plus yards from a rb each week to make up for Young’s issues

etc etc”

all the comments above came from several panthers podcasters who follow the team after yesterday’s win

personally, i shudder every single time he attempts a pass or he runs

and then the ‘it is notBryce’s fault crowd’

the problem is he is here and he will be all season and quite probably next year

Did the owner and gm and evaluators screw up and move  up in a poor qb draft and select a historically small qb with issues, yes  and there is nothing to be done about it now

i mean, are you suggesting that 52 other players and the coaching staff tank for a draft position 6 games into the season ?

Imo The upcoming schedule with the rams, bills, packers will answer the question without tanking

The Dolphins are skewing that number quite a bit. If the Falcons and Cowboys beat us, they’d both be over .500. The Falcons currently are .500. I don’t think we are a playoff team, but maybe we aren’t a bottom tier anymore. We can beat bad to kind of bad teams at home. We need to beat the Jets on the road next week.

AMEN to that!

I still need convincing.  We beat beatable teams at home and we struggle on the road.  What does that equal?  A below .500 team by season's end, but not the doormats of the League.  It's nice to get some wins, but the long term outlook is still not too rosey, IMO.
