BC is playing great as a RG, but cobett can play either OG and C. BC can play all 5 spots and do it well, I lost a bet thinking some team would see he's valued. Glad BC is a panther and I hope he stays a few more years!!

He's worth keeping around. Mays can and as been injuries before, that would leave some guy signed off ravens PS. Sure cobett hasn't stayed healthy long enough, but he's still NFL roster worthy even at this stage/age/injuries.

We escaped a game where Nijman played and he didn’t hurt us. I don’t want to keep making that bet. Let’s free Brady up to sub in for Motion.

What does this mean? Sub in like playing your offensive line in rotation like two rbs? Or in case Moton gets injured have him on standby to check in?

Yea, he needs to stay on bench, unless a injury hits. Corbett did beat out Mays and viewed as a better leader, but the injuries.....

Tho....... You could talk me into him replacing BC cause BC is the best utility OLman. Still BC is playing great as RG, both him and Mays have earned the right to keep playing.

Finally I don't think Corbett has ever played for RB that's had back2back 200 scrimmage yards.

Maybe its time for Cobrett to be a top IOL backup for the last couple of years in his career.

Moton was inactive Sunday, injured.
It means I’d probably rather use Christianson to sub for an injured Moton than Nijman and use Corbett at G.

Because I don’t trust Nijman in pass pro so much.

    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
    • I'd give anything to go back to a 4-3 but we are so removed from having the pieces for that. All because Tepper wanted to force this 3-4 on all our coaches.
