Bryce likely out next week

He got WAY too cute yesterday. First of all, you start Dowdle and stop with this rotating BS. Sorry Chuba, RBs are a dime a dozen, so go with the guy that's had a historic 3 game stretch. Neither RB can get in a rhythm when you switch them every other series.

Playing other bad teams helps a lot but true. Does it really surprise you the coach sticking with Bryce with zero competition in year 3 would go away from the hot hand RB?

Some RBs need rhythm and others seem ready to go when called. I think it comes back to playcalling and coaching which is just meh here

This is a winnable game at home this weekend.  The Bills are injured and not playing well.  I expect the Panthers to run the ball heavy so Dalton or Bryce will not put up big stats but they need to not turn the ball over for the Panthers to have a chance.

I mean, don't be shocked if we look much better through the air with Dalton at QB. He is a more talented QB than Bryce.

It's gonna be about how well we protect him, if the run game stays cooking and if he deals with TO's. He's a gunslinger, so that does lead to INT's.

Our win woke Atlanta up.  I imagine the second meeting will be different.  Miami sucks, their coach may not have a job next week.  Of those three Dallas was the only team I didn't think we had a chance of beating, but we did.  On the flip side we lost to a pretty bad Cardinals team, so it washes.

So did ATL go back to bed after beating buffalo??

Let's be honest, both Dalton and Bryce sucks. However, Dalton can definitely replicate Bryce's 150 yds a game. That's not the problem. The problem is Canales will get cute and have Dalton throw the ball 40+ times even though the Bills have the 31st ranked run defense. If the gameplan isn't to run Dowdle and Chuba 40+ times, then we already lost before the game started.

The people saying we're gonna lose because Bryce is out is hilarious, acting like he's been the main catalyst for our 3 game winning streak lol Yeah, we more than likely lose, but it won't be because Bryce was out, it will be because Canales went full retard like yesterday.

Yes…   Bombs away   Against the 31st defense against the run.  The Canales way

im more concerned about the oline then Dalton.

if Lewis is back and capable of playing at high level, they need to run that ball to hell and back.

If it is Corbett or Zavala, no   Both of those guys need to be gone after this year   Too injury prone   Corbett has been kept 2 years longer than he should’ve been and Zavala, not that great even when healthy

if Lewis isn’t back, then at least put Corbett back to his natural RG and Brady back to his natural left side

the bills are coming off a bye and a horrible, non Josh Allen like, performance. The Bills offense won’t do that a second time.

If the Panthers can run that ball successfully and keep it out of Josh’s hands and the Panthers defense can contain Allen’s running and not give him time to use his arm, they have a chance

My belief, the Panthers oline will determine this game as they impact both teams

Ball control to control the clock and the Bills and keep that defense rested

I do not believe there is anyone at any significant level of the organization (fo/staff) that wants this team to lose on Sunday at this point to make Bryce look good. Early in his career he was coddled, yes. But we are still in the playoffs and losing would cause a blow while beating the bills would be amazing

And realistically nobody has to worry about The Rusty Rocket really going on a tear, even if we'd like to

It's not about making Bryce look good, it's about the fear of Dalton making Bryce look bad.

If Dalton goes out there and puts up 300 yards passing and is throwing the ball downfield with success, that in itself will be a REALLY bad look for Bryce, as that's something we're not able to do with him in there.  Bryce is 10th in the league in passing attempts this year and has only 1 game over 199 yards this year, which only came because of the crazy prevent defense the Cardinals went to in the 2nd half of that game.

I'll give Bryce credit, he's playing significantly better than he did pre-benching last season.

However, if old man Dalton is able to step in there on one week's notice and is slinging the ball all around the park, how do you sell Bryce deserving to be the starter to the rest of the team or the fan base?

That's why I'm saying the true Bryce believers are going to be afraid of Dalton looking good.  If we look like a real life NFL offense in the year of 2025 (i.e. a real passing attack), it won't be a good look for Dalton or even Canales, it will be a bad look on Bryce.

True but he is also on an obvious decline too so that margin is shrinking too. I don't know how much he has left or how to evaluate it all if the decline is as much as I think it is with Dalton. When a gunslinger gets to the end of the road it's all Ints and no TDs.

I wouldn't call Dallas a crappy team and most of us Panthers fans have been on life support for a long time and I'm trying to somewhat enjoy not being the laughing stock of the sports world.
