Packers game predictions

It’s hard to imagine a set of scenarios where the Panthers best the Packers at Lambeau. I can’t stretch my imagination that far.  It’s fair to both teams to expect a Packers victory.

We haven’t gotten a lot of dumb luck this season.  At some point or another a team is going to turn the ball over twice in the first half and let us get a 21-3 lead (it may not be this season). Where are the inexplicable fumbles in our favor?

That’s the only way I can imagine the Panthers winning this game. By some stroke of dumb luck the Packers implode and we somehow jump out to a big enough early lead that they abandon the run and become one dimensional.  Even then we might need a defense or special teams score.

We are who we thought we were…

I under estimated the OL and thought they would be our downfall.  Protection issues, general Chinese fire drill stuff because they were shuffled around and undermanned. Basically. But that didn’t happen.

So great job OL.

The Bills got back a few players, were coming off a bye and had things to fix on offense which they clearly did, religiously, for at least a week.

I don’t think the same thing is repeated and I think this ends up being a 3 point game, one way or the other. The Packers aren’t coming off of a Bye, they don’t have to “fix” their run game so the offense we will see will be what they’ve been running all season.

I’ve watched most Bills games and much of the success they had running were on blocking schemes they haven’t used all year long.

Panthers - 27 Packers - 24

Not a huge leap but, CPCavedweller was right, 3 point game.

    • Over previous years? Sure is 😆
    • An odd little vibe I've noticed here of late: some folks are "all or nothing" to an absolutely extreme level when it comes to Bryce. Here's a bit of truth telling though: There are, in fact, things Bryce does well. Likewise, there are areas in which he's improved over his time here. He has, on several occasions now, legitimately helped us win games. On the flipside, there have been failures in other areas as well as coaching that we're not in any way his fault.  And finally , it is also genuinely possible that the team may see him as the future, even if we don't. The craziest part, though? It's actually possible that they're right and we're wrong. All of this is true, and more, yet if you accept any of these premises people go from zero to apesh-t in under three seconds 😳 Anything less than total disavowal of Bryce and / or agreement that he's the worst QB of all time and suddenly you're a "stan". Oy 🙄 The reality though?  Bryce is indeed an NFL quarterback. Not a great one, probably backup level good, and I've seen way worse. Now, if you run that statement through your personal Google translator and it comes back with some version of "I want to throw 50 million a year at Bryce for the next 10 years", that's not really my issue it's yours  I don't wanna make him the franchise quarterback, but it's not my call. Win or lose, the team is going to do what they think is best. And as always, if it disagrees with what I think we should do, I'm gonna hope I'm the one who's wrong. Internet clout means nothing. Watching my favorite team win at my favorite sport meas fun 😁
