FYI Dowdle was a HS QB and I believe he's the emergency QB. 

 

I don't know why its sooo hard to have a few plays where both Rico and Chubba on the same play. Both have good hands and both can pass block/blitz pickup. I always complained about this during jstew and dwill era, use both!!!

Hell fake a HB drive to Chubba and setup a screen pass to Rico, BANG 12 yards....Its not like its against the rules to play 2 RBs at the same time.

I keep telling people this. We got some people here insanely high on hopium.

 

On Dalton, to continue to play and start a QB with a broken thumb makes Canales look even more insanely stupid as a head coach. If it happens again this week, even with Hooker/White as our only available options......I am 100% okay with terminating him immediately after the game.

This level of stupidity is starting to get into Matt Rhule territory.

      Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.

      I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.

      Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
