Where would we be right now with a real franchise QB?

I see us at 2 losses max, possibly undefeated if said QB could put the team on his back like prime Cam.

My point, we need to start getting that guy within the next 2 years and stop wasting away other guys careers.

Prime Cam QBs are once in a generation. Even getting prime Andy Dalton and this team has 2 more wins. They beat the Cardinals for sure after Bryce dumped all over the place early in the game and maybe the Jaguars game too. Bills wildcard game since he didn’t play

Im still preparing myself for Dan to give out a 2-3 year extension, further prolonging the pain.

Prime Cam and this team doesn't lose a game yet. Prime Cam was unstoppable.

Average QB play, probably at 2 losses. If Bryce can get to average, this team is dangerous.

The running game with Rico is on fire, even with O-line injuries.

Prime Cam with legit tackles and promising WRs? Unstoppable for real

Probably 7-2 or 8-1 and running the division

Giving prime Cam Newton Rico Dowdle and Tmac would be a deadly combo.

I have bashed Bryce as much as anyone but right now is not the time for this tread.  He played good today, D played great today!  This was a really good win, let’s enjoy it

That's the thing, he didn't play good. At all. He is one of the worst starters on this team.

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game around when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
