As I watch Darnold tonight...

I just have to think that he was simply unfortunate to come into the league to the Jets and then be traded to the Panthers, one terrible franchise and another now shaky franchise that has been terrible as of late. Not to mention Baker, but Sam Darnold looks like a totally different QB. He's out there slinging with confidence, going through progressions, making reads, taking what the defense is giving him, and then pushing the ball down the field without fear. 

My goodness, someone here really screwed the pooch. I don't know where Fitterer is, but the dumpy car salesman just got an extension. I wish I knew all the other dodo heads who were in on our layers of failure pertaining to Darnold, you know the ones that are supposed to help QBs develop and those giving input on personnel, but I hope that they have other employment.

Darnold had 35 passing touchdowns last season and looked to be on a team assuredly primed for a run until he met the Rams in the playoffs and had an historical meltdown

He's seemed to have found his stride in the regular season since leaving Carolina. It remains to be seen if he will ever be successful in the playoffs.

I don’t agree with much he says, but I don’t care about personal views on players on my teams, as long as they aren’t committing crimes I’m fine with them

Yup. Despite Darnolds success he's on another new team this year. It's easy to crown him in the regular season... And this is coming from a big supporter of his 

Honestly he looked decent enough at the end of his term here, too. Hindsight and all but I do wish we'd kept him.

I do.  I can't root for guys I don't vibe with.  I am also big on locker rooms gelling.

For example, I was glad Greg Hardy got the boot, even though he is talented.

There are both players from both sides of the aisle on every team in every sport, that's not something I'm going to take issue to in who is on the teams I root for.  If that's a problem for someone, then they need to be a fan of individual sports like MMA where they can pick and choose single people to root for.

Hardy is a totally different situation, he's a woman beater.  No thanks to guys like that, or Watson/Tucker types either.  No to the Tyreek's either (how the tape of him saying his son and girlfriend should be afraid of them didn't end his career is beyond me).

But political or religious views, I might not want to be friends with the guy, but I'm not going to take issue with them on my teams since there are a mix on every team in all sports.

I would just much rather them keep something like that private.  The ones who publicly speak on stuff like that tend to be a little nutty in my opinion.

I just don't need to know some things.  For example, I don't care to know any players sexual orientation, even though I have nothing against whatever they may be.  I just don't want to hear it.
