I wish someone smarter than me could explain how the 5th is going to work if he has another year like this one.  Or the year before.   Or the year before that one.

They are forever optimistic, I guess.

We will find out this offseason when we see what they do with the QB room. You might get a sneak peek before Bryce's option. Option deadline is May 1st, free agency opens March 11, and the Draft is April 23-25.

If we pick up the option on Bryce before either of those two dates, that will be a big tell, IMO.

well this year isn't like the year before, or the year before that one, so lets say if he wins us a Superbowl THIS YEAR, you probably can expect the 5th year off the table and expect a 10 yr extension. lol

after today's Win(yes i' goin to bed rn, not taken any chances), "another week to sleep" KEEP POUNDING!!!

They won’t see that, for some reason people have blinders on for Bryce. Unfortunately, he’s getting that extension.

Its all speculation anyway, but maybe just maybe they surprise and say "nah we're good on the 5th"  but knowing this team I think we make a mistake and pick it up.

Unless he goes on a tear today/in the playoffs, it's hard to understand what the logic behind the option pick up is.

I think maybe he shines in the lockerroom and does all the things well aside from playing QB well. But....that ain't worth much as an NFL starting QB.

The Steelers are pretty good at it with Rodgers back there with his hands on his hips

Rodgers can throw lasers all over the field and a hail mary from about anywhere. If Young could do those things it wouldn't be as big of a deal. Its just one more thing Young cant do and its limiting.

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
