Is the fact that we lost 17-7 and Jaycee horn fell down and surrendered 14 points.

That's why the knocks on "the whole team" ring a bit hollow for me.  The D wasn't terrible today by any means.

Dowdle ran hard but was contained. Also looking beat up.

I mean we would have needed to hold them to two FGs tops to win the game. 17 points isn’t bad and is only maybe a point or so over their season average.

The failure was on offense. Something like 4 straight 3 and outs, but we were still in a tight game.
Canales knew what a gamble it would be to start relying on  Bryce throwing the ball and stalled as long as he could. His fears were realized as soon as the cuffs came off Bryce’s lil old wrists.

The 85 Bears gave up a ton of plays to Dan Marino.

We are not the 85 Bears but 17 points should be enough to win a game at home against a 1-8 team, the fact we could only manage 7 points and if not for a Justin Reid slap on Bryce Young helmet that drive would have ended it a interception.

So we very well could have been shutout at home to a team that was sellers at the trade deadline playing for the top pick in the draft.

Two bad games in a row for Jaycee.

I've been paying attention. Its beginning to be a concern for me. He's also getting more penalties for holding and PI. He's slipping a bit and I think it's focus. He could be one of the guys players are complaining about in practice.

One of the pi calls was bs.  I think his reputation is known now among refs

    • I don't do locks lol. I just bet +1000 and up and can hit at a decent rate. Combine ml winners and team shots on target. Do better in champions league than anything else
    • Did not expect this from national media. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/10-best-nfl-defenses-2026-texans-seahawks-broncos 10. Carolina Panthers   Key additions: OLB Jaelan Phillips (FA), LB Devin Lloyd (FA), DT Lee Hunter (draft) Key losses: DT A’Shawn Robinson (FA) Don’t be surprised to see the Panthers, who ranked 15th in points allowed and 16th in yards given up last season, make the leap into the top-10 conversation in 2026.  They added two of the marquee defensive free agents in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd. Cornerback Jaycee Horn is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. Carolina lost starting defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson in free agency but essentially replaced him with second-round pick Lee Hunter, who had 10.5 tackles for loss at Texas Tech last season.  Ejiro Evero, one of the NFL’s most respected defensive coordinators, has plenty of talent to work with.
    • unless you have a bonafide superstar at Qb you bring in competition every year until you do & or at the very least you want a legitimate plan B in case of an injury .the problem in Carolina is they know Bryce ayoung most likely could not actually win a real legitimate NFL Qb competition right now & if & when he did not win that aforesaid Qb competition it would not only be a major distraction but a setback to his overall development.& moreover once the fans realized they had a much better Qb on the roster it would be alot of public pressure to start the better Qb  ...just saying
