Looking over White's stats, his biggest problem is he's a pick machine.  Yes, he can move the ball, yes he can hit a big play, yes, he can throw TDs, but he's going to throw a number of INTs too.

Do you think he could average more than 168 passing yards per game and 5.6 yards/attempt? If he can than he'd provide an immediate upgrade to our passing game.

The fact us fans can't tell who would be worse to start, the #1 pick or the recently reactived 3rd stringer/ps guy, is hilarious to me at this point.

If Young looks the same then this goober should be given a 4th quarter chance. Should have happened on Sunday

fug it, let's see it. Nothing is worse than watching this anemic passing game that is stuck in neutral. I'd rather watch interceptions than this poo. Straight up.

I mean if he throws too many picks, just run it. The threat of the deep ball will be more effective at opening up the run game than the threat of the 5 yard hail mary.

We throw picks anyways. I'd rather see them on deep shots than on 12 yard out routes that a high schooler could see coming.

Yep. Right now defenses can just stack the hell out of the box because they don't fear a vertical threat. They can completely focus on nullifying the run and the short passing game. I've been saying it for a long time but Bryce at QB essentially turns the entire field into red zone offense. What he's turned into as of late is turning the entire field into goalline offense. It just took a dominant few games from Rico to force our opponents to play us the way they should've been playing us once they had a few games of NFL tape on Bryce to study.

Make fun all you want, but he is better than the guy they keep playing every Sunday. Give me a forty yard spiral instead of a twenty yard hospital ball any day of the week.

    • Donovan seems like highest risk to me. Lloyd and May have already established relationships with all these kids. There’s probably guys hitting the portal that they recruited from HS. And then there’s the possibility of transferring their own guys from their current teams. They’ve also been recruiting the HS kids for like the next 5 years already. Look at the Iowa coach who hit the ground running by transferring all his guys from his D2 program. Or going across sports to Cignetti transferring all his JMU guys year one then building off that to a national title year 2. Donovan is starting from square one having been in the NBA so long and he’s already 60. So you’re potentially punting year 1 for a guy you are just hoping to be a 10 year hire while you figure out how to actually develop your next home grown 20yr guy. That’s 1/10th of the time you have him, more or less at best. The hope would be that he would find some high level assistants who have been working the college recruiting trails already, but then are you giving up his ideal staff just to get a foothold in recruiting and transfers. Think Belichick year one was bad? Imagine how much worse it would be without Steve Belichicks transfer portal pulls. Hoping Mays or Lloyd are all they’re cracked up to be.
    • I don't care if you block me. I'm honestly tired of seeing you bash the heels and Hornets and pretend to be a fan. Get a life.  And like I said before.. Hang the banners.  Been 11 years since Duke even made it to a championship
    • When you have to keep blocking people you might be the dumbass.
