Nope, doesn't work that way. Transfers are where they finish their college career, not where they start.  Tua was their man, he's the QB they rode with and why Hurts transferred.  My point remains and Hurts is a Sooner.

I get that for players like Burrow, but Hurts literally had more starts at Bama than he did at Oklahoma.  I think that's a little different story IMO.

if you want a real sickos option, it would take some serious doing and it probably wouldn't cost much from a compensation perspective, but I bet the niners would listen to offers about Brock Purdy.

Probably makes more sense for them to roll with Mac Jones instead of Brock considering their cap situation, state of the team. Their window has closed.

How about stay away from Bama QBs?  Name one successful one recently--NFL success.

This was literally the exact same argument that people threw out about why we shouldn’t draft CJ Stroud since Ohio State QBs before him didn’t pan out. Scout the player not the uniform.

Yeah this always drove me crazy.  Now you have to definitely consider players from these schools being on stacked teams, but you can say the same for UGA, and LSU when Burrow was there.

Strouds game against UGA should have been the end of the conversation.

I liked him before that, but that sealed the deal.  I always thought at worst he could be a Goff type player.  His accuracy and leadership were top notch.
