Is it DC not calling the routes or Bryce not throwing them when we call them. I honestly don't know but am starting to think it might be a DC problem

He said he wouldn’t call them until they could execute them in practice.

With that said, the deep shots have always been there. Bryce just wouldn’t throw them.

I don't think it is a DC problem, personally, given how we have executed those plays in past games.

On the one hand, you are probably right. But... I definitely didn't see these routes run in the games against GB and NO.

Maybe the saints debacle made DC realize he can't keep calling all routes that are 10 yards or less

Has Bryce ever hit a dude deep in stride like he did today with XL? Im pretty sure thats the first time he's done it in 3 years. No its not a DC issue, in fact, the scheme and receiver play was great today. Receivers were running free all day.

Cowboys game last year to Coker off the top of my head

Fair question - my biggest complaint is that we haven't given him the chance to even do it this year.

That's why I want to see him throw it deep. If Bryce sucks and throws interceptions, then we definitely have our answer of not resigning him

I couldn’t believe how open everyone was. Evans caught a pass today and there was no one within 10 yards of him.

    • No poo tho you might could Jenkins for Legette. They got nothing at WR after the big 2 in Cincy. I don’t think you trade away OL depth. Could get a quality player in cuts. Really that 3-4 end spot what you should be looking for is someone who is stout with long arms and can push back the OL in both the run and pass game for others to make plays…. But we signed Wharton, sometimes I think Evero is a fraud ass nerd who should be an analyst at best.
    • you would honestly probably do Monroe Freeling more of a disservice by putting him in a position where is not yet ready to succeed. .we all knew Monroe Freeling struggled at the NFL combine in drills because of technique related issues & would need time to develop  & now all of a sudden before they even put the pads on Monroe Freeling is somehow a starting LT in the NFL ? if he struggled at the NFL scouting combine what do you actually think is going to happen in a live NFL game at LT ? .even our best LT of all time was not ready to start at LT when he was a rookie & he turned out to be a pretty good darn LT by the name of Jordan Gross ...just saying be patient Young Jedis
    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
