Against the Saints, Mayfield hit Egbuka in the end zone, but Egbuka dropped it—costing the Bucs six points. They ended up losing by four.

Against the Falcons, Mooney fumbled with six Bucs around him, yet somehow he still came up with the football.

Later, Cousins fumbled and apparently had a hand on the ball along with a Bucs defender. The refs awarded possession back to Atlanta.

Pitts caught a TD with part of his body clearly landing out of bounds. Replays looked like his elbow was either down before  or at the same his butt hit, but somehow the Falcons still got the touchdown.

Either the Football Gods are smiling down on the Panthers, or the Bucs have seriously pissed them off. Either way, I’ll take it.

That color scheme is a crime against humanity.

I was struggling listening to the commentary about how it was one of the greatest throwback uniforms ever and there were some that were just plain ugly. I kept thinking to myself, damn, I wish I had selective color blindness.

Listening to Buc players post game is interesting. They really see themselves as some powerhouse and it was a massive upset

The Rams reaction to our win was much more grounded and professional. It gave  me respect for McVay.

OK, let's analyze this:

Tampa Bay's last 5 games (including losses vs. New Orleans and Atlanta) November and December games:  1-5.  The only win was a 3-point win vs. Arizona.

Key games:  Of course, if Carolina beats New Orleans Sunday, the Panthers are a game up with Seattle, and 2 vs. the Bucs.

DECEMBER 21 is probably a "must win" for the Panthers vs. Tampa Bay, assuming the Panthers beat the Saints. If they lose to New Orleans, they are long shots. The Panthers are at home and are 4-2 there-with a stupid loss to New Orleans.  A win could put the Panthers up 2 games with 2 to play.

DECEMBER 28 is a huge date.  The Bucs have Miami on the road and are home for the finale vs the Panthers.  Miami has won 4 straight.  The Panthers play Seattle at home.  Seattle is 10-3 and 6-1 on the road. If the Panthers win, the Tampa games allows us to rest our starters.  Imagine that.
