"Keep Pounding"......

The motto means nothing if they lay down and submit to the opponent. One of the most embarrassing things I have seen from twenty years of being a Panther fan.

Regardless if the lead seems to be insurmountable, you keep giving 110% untill the final second. Canales is definitely a Beta and it wasn't a good look at all. I wonder what the locker room was whispering about after that sh%t. I hope we never see this again and he actually grows a pair of balls.

He needs to look in the mirror and understand that you just don't do that in the NFL. Maybe peewee football so kids don't get hurt. Throw the 3rd stringers in to run the play and finish the game with some some pride and don't bend the knee.

At that point, throw some poo out there you've been wanting to do but never would in a real game scenario. What have you got to lose? If there were 1 or 2 seconds left and we kneeled down, fine. Not happy about, but get out of there with no injuries on a meaningless play. With just under 2 minutes left though, don't just lay down.

if they're competitors like they say they are, they'll take that as a strong message to up their game next week. I mean, Derrick Brown understands whats at stake.

but then again, this is the same Canales who said joint practices were enough and that the (sorry) starters didn't need to play in the preseason.

That was not a message to the team. All that stunt did was reinforce to the world what a low T soy boy our head coach is.

I'm not local anymore.  How did the local media and radio react to this?

Did anyone with a voice actually tell Canales what a bitch he is?  Luke Combs is usually pretty vocal when we are complete dipshits.  But I also know he now has exclusive merch with the team, so probably limits his ability to speak on things.

While I have no doubt some of the stuff on this board makes its way back to some players and coaches, would be nice if someone who could create a buzz was as vocal about it as we were.

Only positive out of it I can think of is Bryce didn't get a handful of garbage time pass yards to make his stat line look better lol. If that was his reasoning I approve

While I stand by this opinion, he could have also thrown Dalton out there to chuck it around a few times to see if anything looked different/improved...Garbage time I know but still

    • I think you have to factor in that we're still not an attractive proposition for Head Coaches. You're not getting the cream of the crop if you fire Canales a year after winning the NFC South, especially considering the situation he walked into.
    • Yeah, I was about to say I hope he's doing okay health-wise because he's not looking good in that pic.
    • Honestly, I dont  think he should be on the hot seat yet. A bad start to next year, then yes. Despite our mistakes on play calling this past season, we played better than anticipated overall. Bryce showed improvement and maturity (although still not nowhere close to our expectations). Better record and 2-15 to 5-12 to 8-9. Despite what we feel the stats dont lie we are improving by 3 wins a year. Could 11-6 be our expectation. That's a high bar but at the rate we are going, thats what its looking like. We all want to see a 5-12 to a 13-4 record but we are methodically moving up. Success doesnt happen overnight (well in most cases).  IMO we are struggling mostly on the defensive end. LB and edge are our biggest weakness. I see Bryce making improvements (even though I was a Bryce hater) next year. Biggest concern is LT on offense. How to fix this? We need a big name edge or to trade up and get a big name edge or LB and pick up one in FA and draft one. Also if in the 3rd we can pick up a TE. Dont know if Sanders is the answer or Tremble (even though I love Trembles blocking and power after the catch). If these two can get their footwork together they would be great. Maybe all they need is a better TE coach. And if Brooks can stay healthy and be the back we thought he could be, man that would be great
