Four yards rushing.

Rico gotta be mad as hell cuz he only needed 7 yards haha

I mean if he's mad as hell he could run like it and try breaking a tackle or something

The piss poor defense that cant even bring down Baker Mayfield when you have him dead to rights, gave them

Not taking up for Bryce, but our defense sucks

Dipper hell bent on 3-4 without the players and a DC that couldn't execute it....

Call runs that are downhill and use a ton of double team blocks. There. You have a beast at guard who you can run behind. Put Tremble in at FB if beed be.  There, got the run game going. Anything that requires a pull or a hard cut is a non starter. Any delayed run out of shotgun is a non starter.

Bryce’s looks like he has zero confidence

Because he is a 5’ 3” quarterback with a noodle arm and far, FAR below average processing and decision-making ability.

Like imagine today you get a call to go into a UFC fight tomorrow. Dana White will pay you $5MM, so you are on one hand very happy that you are financially set for life. On the other hand however you realize you lack every mental and physical tool required to compete or even attempt to moderately do your job well. You’d have the same look on your face. It’s almost a look like it’s not my fault, they knew I was a midget when they drafted me. They knew I had a worse arm than most high school quarterbacks, and the one thing I was supposed to excel at, processing and figuring poo out, was drastically over estimated because I am the least cerebral quarterback ever drafted into the NFL.

If Jamarcus Russell drank two bottles of syrup to the face prior to the first snap, he would still make better decisions than Tyrion Young.

One could argue that a loss today is better than the embarrassment that will come from the 49ers in a playoff game. The Panthers might lose by 100 points.

Both better options than XL.

I’ve been begging for a big 3 if Tmac, Coker and Tremayne since midseason.  It’s clearly the best option, short and long term in mind.  Horn can keep doing what he does

Not sure Josh Allen could run this offense...

Josh Allen would just make his own plays.  It’s what he does.   He would do cartoon stuff.

Lost in a lot IMO, are the checks and decisions Bryce makes at the line.   Bryce just has no ceiling and it forever shows.

NFL is about playmaking QBs.  half the stuff Allen, Mahomes, Jackson, etc wow folks with isn’t always just some perfect playcall.  They make plays

    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
    • Guessing the price is too rich here given the injury history.  2024 was brutal and production dropped off in 2025 with a few more injuries (albeit rough qb play).    Don’t really understand the narrative that Young can’t benefit from talented upgrades on offense. Especially here with respect to a tight end. Any QB will benefit from talented receivers that threaten the top of coverage and tight ends with skills to stress zone.    The age and injury history, coupled with what he’s likely asking, just probably means we can better spend that money elsewhere.
