FOX post-game suggested Tomlin could be in a hot seat

IF IF IF IF that happens, Knowing what he's done in Pittsburgh and the Tepper connection (via steelers pre-Panthers ownership), I could see Tepper suggesting Tomlin be given a look-see by Dan/Dave assuming he doesn't get a HC gig at Vegas or elsewhere

You mean the guy that he supposedly tried to oust?

I doubt it.

Also, I am pretty sure Tomlin will get a HC job very quickly, should he want one.

I don't think any good HC candidate will have any interest in the Raiders unless that coach is absolutely in love with one of the QB's in this draft, and even then, I'm not sure they're taking that job.

That is a team with very little going for it right now, on top of being in a division with Mahomes/Reid, Herbert/Harbaugh, Nix/Payton.

The next closest division with a set up like that for the foreseeable future would probably be the NFC North, who even as good as they are, none of them are as good as any of those 3.  You could say the Bills/Patriots with Allen/Maye is better set up than the NFCN, but even then, that's still just 2 teams, not 3 like with the AFC West.

And that's before even factoring in all the distractions that come along with been in Vegas.

I genuinely think the Raiders job is the worst in the entire NFL right now.

Tepper allegedly tried to get him fired

If Evero leaves the Panthers should definitely look at bringing in Jeff Ulbrich as defensive coordinator he turned the Falcons defense around a unit that was one of the worst at sacking the qb became one of the best in the league in his season as the DC.

Raheem Morris is the only coach in like a decade to get the Panthers into the playoffs and they fired him for it. Best coach we have had around here since John Fox. What a shame.

No lie if we lose Evero I’d take him in a heartbeat as DC

I think it would be good to just find a better play caller who runs a similar scheme to Evero. Going to be hard to flip schemes in one offseason.

    • I know the offer to Lloyd came out, but I never saw that anything was officially offered to May or Donovan. Not saying it didn’t happen, just curious what the source is.
    • I haven’t scouted them to say, because I am not GM and have no say. The Miami kid, but he will probably be gone. Freeling. Proctor is interesting. Like I said I haven’t really scouted but I would look closer at him because I have seen some claiming he has the quickness and feet even at his inflated size. So I would look closer at that.  My ideal outcome is one of the top guys who are probably not gonna fall, falls and we use 19 on him. Obviously, I guess. I am  not wanting to trade up or anything - not putting it like code red at all costs, but if we get a chance to get that covered I would for sure want to take it.  Also it looks like we might be able to drop down a few slots and find a future RT at decent value which I would also be fine with.  I think if someone fell that made 19 a hot pick, then I would want to trade out unless it was a top T.  I would probably want to get a run stopper for the DL if the tackle thing didn’t fall right. That is what I voted for here because I feel it is more likely that we don’t have things fall to fit my scenario.
