lol Ron Rivera. He’s honestly just the right coach to fix a toxic culture for a year or two if that’s what they are able to get. Ron is a good guy, not a good head coach especially that this point in his career.

RR was a good coach. Probably the best coach we have ever had here..

So Belichick didn’t make the hall of fame…what the actual fug? I hated those Patriots teams as much as the next guy but come on. Anybody who didn’t vote for him should not get to vote for the HOF ever again.

Either, people want to delay so him and Tom make it the same year (dumb) or voters realized that the Panthers were the deserving winner in 2004 and that they only won because they knew every signal used in the first half (brilliant and honorable protest for all of us).

In all seriousness, its a really, really bad look that he wasn't a 100% vote getter. He's the type of dude that once he does get voted in, he may just tell the HOF and NFL to go fug themselves.

Browns hire Ravens OC Todd Monken for their HC. A 60 year old with only three years of HC experience and that was over a decade ago at Southern Miss where he went 13-25 over three seasons. The Ravens' offense fell off a cliff this year from being a top 5 unit the previous two seasons to middle of the pack #16 this year getting Harbaugh fired.

In other words, classic Browns move. LOL

But like Tepper has found put, these are the types of hires you're left to make when everyone with other options is going to choose other options.

It's going to be very funny to see him have to deal with shell of Deshaun Watson and two PS QB's next season.

That contract is so brutal.  $81M cap hit this year and he'll still hit them for $26M, $17M, and $8M over the next three years when he won't even be on the roster unless he makes a miraculous rebound and gets extended which seems exceedingly unlikely and this dude is setup as a fall guy if that's what he's being hired to try to accomplish. Which given his age seems likely. I mean, I don't think you're hiring a coach on the wrong side of 60 to draft and develop another QB in next year's draft but it's the Browns so who knows.

No he was not. He was mediocre at best. He is the reason we lost the Super Bowl because he refused to adjust. Ron should have been fired in 2013. Maybe we could have got a coach that didn't waste one of the best teams we ever had.

And now the NFL is re-evaluating the Rooney Rule after not a single Black hire across 10 jobs.

Roger Goodell is an absolute doofus.

$64 million dollars to have the worst officials, worst owners, and worst players agreement in all of professional sports.

Hope he writes a book on how to be a billionaire and a dipshit at the same time.  I'd love that life.

I mean Cam not jumping on his fumble might have also had something to do with us losing..

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
