Weather conditions on Saturday

Expected to be wet with wind gusts up to 40 mph, particulary in the second half.   

Who will it affect more?  

I saw a stat somewhere that Matthew Stafford is 1-8 all time when playing in the rain.  He's been playing mostly in a dome in Detroit and LA.

Feels like the only winning scenario is if we have the ball last with a chance for a game winning FG, so strong wind gusts won't help us there.

Rain games at BoA are historically favorable to us.

JAX in '11, Saints in '13, and most recently the Rams a month ago come to mind.

If we are going to do anything in the playoffs then we need to get the run game going.

We will have the 40 mph wind gusts at our back so that way Fitzy can try a FG from 80 yards

 wife is going to be absolutely thrilled when she discovers the forecast. 

Normally I would say this favors us but the Rams are so good at running the football that it doesn't really. who knows maybe it leads to some wonky turnovers

They are that much better than us offensively, that favor can be interpreted as cutting down their advantage, by hindering their air game. That helps us.

Bad weather, big rain. Brings it down to luck and the running games. Slugfest in the trenches.

That gives us our best chance.
