Incredibly proud of this team

The Panthers were essentially a 10-7 team ( refs rigged the Saints and Bucs match up) with a flawed roster and took the 12-5 Rams down to the wire.

We did this with back up level LBs and zero situational pass rush. I feel pretty strongly that we are a solid draft and FA pass rusher away from becoming a dominant team.

The foundations are there. Canales has done a hell of a job.

Agree on the need for an (edge) pass rusher. It's been a need since we sent Brian Burns to the Giants.  Since we insist on running a 3-4 it needs to be an OLB. It be an added bonus if we could find another DE to pair with Brown, but with more pass rushing ability, even if he were only a situational guy.

A ball hawking safety with some coverage skills to shore up the secondary and at least one big-time playmaker at ILB.  If we took an elite  player at any of these spots in on the first round or on Day 2 of the draft  I'd be thrilled.

It's been one hell of a ride this season. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed football for an entire season. There are still a lot of things that frustrate me about this team, but they somehow made it work and put together something pretty impressive. I'm still worried about us being stuck in mediocrity, but hell, that's a lot better than where we've been.

Also, hats off to the fans! What an impressive showing last night. That was the most wild it's been since the 2015 NFC Championship. The place was absolutely rocking! The fans showed up! This is one of the things that has been missing for so long. Despite the loss, I had a blast last night.

Absolutely … watching from Colorado, man oh man it makes my heart warm knowing how much our Panthers are loved and supported back home these days. This season was a massive step in the right direction after everything since Tepper took over.

But say all you want about Tepper, but let’s be honest , he has turned a corner and has truly embraced the Panthers history and culture more so recently , and we saw it on full display in Charlotte Saturday. I’m truly so damn proud of our Panthers …. Time to buy that DB #95 jersey… love this team and our fans so damn much. Been a fan since Day 1 when I was a kid in Charlotte and to see how far we’ve come and to have faith in where we’re going in the future truly brings a smile to my face.

In a world currently full of despair and pessimism, thank you to the 2025 Carolina Panthers for giving us hope once again.

Time to let Dan Morgan cook…

KEEP POUNDING 🖤💙🖤💙🖤💙

I don't see this roster as being flawed at all.  I think this is a roster that has been built to bail out a terrible QB and it can only do so much.  It's time to put an actual professional behind center.  We will quickly see that this is a terrific roster ready to win big, and win now.

Pass rush was the biggest issue in tonight’s game, and we were tied for 28th in sacks this season. That is a major area of need that has to get addressed this offseason. I just don’t see a path where there’s a game changing QB you can bring in with where we are drafting and quality of veterans that will be available. We certainly can do better than Dalton as a backup, and should ideally have a developmental guy  (perhaps a day 3 pick this year). We have bryce for one more year on a reasonable contract and then I think 2027 is the year that you reset that position (unless he massively improves).

I mean, I'm proud of the team and how it seemingly overachieved this season, but where do we go from here? We have several holes and positions that need upgrading (including QB), and we have a tough schedule to boot come next season. We've made a stride here or there, but in some ways we are in the exact same place this year as the last.

Rumor is that Tepper reached out to Cam personally with a mea culpa.

The grinch’s heart grew three sizes that day

I feel like this team has been cursed since they did Cam dirty, maybe mending the relationship could break that curse

Proud of the WC game, nowhere near proud of how they controlled their own destiny and lost 4 of 5 to close out the season.

We're stuck with Bryce, I'm still not sold on his ability long-term, still too may flaws in his game from a limitations perspective.

When you almost never hold a lead for the entire season, the defense can never pin its ears back and rush the passer.  It still all goes back to the QB not being able to put points on the board.  It was exceptionally rare this season.  If you take Atlanta week 3 and the Jets off the board (the only games where we led for more than half the game and put the defense in said situation to pin its ears back) we led a GRAND TOTAL of around 164 minutes the entire season (per chatgpt). That's 11 minutes per game outside of the two aforementioned games. That is absolutely putrid.  I've said it many times, but literally no one on this team can be properly assessed because of the QB.

    • You bring up a good point on the stability part and i would agree that probably will factor into it. But yes, Tepper does have a strong influence on who stays/goes but I still believe ultimately it'is Morgan, Tilis and Canales who will decide.
    • I can always count on yout to put things so delicately lol. I'm still not sold on the fact that Tepper will make them keep him if they don't see him as a long term answer.
    • holy poo... this thread inspired me to keep trying to guess passwords to various alts I've created over the years and I finally got in! I pretty much accepted my fate as a lurker for the last several months because I could not remember my password. I didn't realize that new users couldn't join either, that explains things. I have been around for years under several different monikers, through the good and bad. I too always find myself coming back here even with all of the new social media options for Panther fan engagement. It's simply nostalgic.   I do get extremely annoyed with the same 5-10 posters shitting on Bryce and complaining about everything. It's unfortunate that half of them are mods and that nobody new can join because now I pretty much just come on here and see Bryce / Panther slander. There is barely any positivity to be had. We all watch this team and hang on this forum for entertainment purposes only. We have no control or say in anything. I used to be such a crazy ass fan that would argue with strangers about Cam newton on the internet and at games. Now, as a father of 3, a business owner and someone with way gnarlier life problems - I like to watch football and talk about football as an escape. Not to bitch more. I really like the direction of the team and will root anyone in a Panthers jersey. I live down the street from the Rams practice facility, Matthew Stafford is currently coaching his daughters flag football team in the same program I coach my sons. I have two highly ranked Rams staff members sons on my team. The way we beat them and had them on the ropes in the playoffs has me feeling amazing, and you would think we have the next great thing in Bryce with the way they all speak of him. I'm gonna ride that high and be a delusional fan, I hope that huddle can stick around or get fixed and perhaps I will get back to posting more now that I can log in again. I will do my best to not get banned. Keep Pounding!
