I can tell you the Cowboys were still talking to Lloyd when I checked in at 7:30 tonight but there was a sense his price was gonna be a little high for them.

The fact that this team was able to get both Philips and Lloyd? Wow. Both of these guys are incredibly talented and play super aggressive. Dan Morgan did, in fact, sign two dawgs today. Panthers defense is back on the rise.

Really doubt his cover ability. The Jags kept him off the field on obvious passing downs for a reason I think. I guess we’ll see because he’s going to have to play all 3 here. Might get exposed really quick

I went into today wanting Lloyd and did not expect Phillips. To leave with both of these guys in their prime is pretty wild. Dan just followed through on his word of getting back to what made teams fear coming to the Bank. 

I think our R1 pick is either OT, DT or FS....BPA of those three. I also wouldn't be surprised if we move back from 19. 

If somehow Monroe Freeling is there at 19, that should be our pick.

We do have two years to get these tackles. I would save room for after we get solid intel on Icky’s prospects. 
In my mind, depending on what falls to us, the guy we take this year, if he isn’t great at LOT,  can pencil into ROT for 2027 if Moton is not in the picture. 
 

And we can take another swing at LOT next year.

Are you talking about last year? Cause I thought last year he improved a lot in coverage. Heck how did he get 5 INTs if he wasn’t playing on passing downs?
