Well if he ends up a Panther I'd be happy about it. He's not a household name but he's better than Corbett and Mays. Would be an upgrade in run and specifically pass blocking.

Still wouldn’t rule out the #Panthers using a draft pick on a center but this is a very solid pickup.

Fortner’s pass block grade of 72.5 in 2025 ranked 7th of all qualifying centers in the league.

Looks to be a lateral move going from Mays to Fortner. Saints fans wanted to keep him according to their forums. It’s a 1 year deal. He’s betting on himself to have a monster year beside Lewis and Hunt and then cash in next year.

he started 10 games last year after replacing the injured center and no starts in 24

I was just saying that a center would definitely  bet on himself being between those 2 guards.
