Aj Dillion is a camp body, dude is considered a meme around the league.

Gotcha and the others who've said the same.

Yadda, yadda, yadda. Sure are a lot of other folks with less injuries that could have been brought along to be camp bodies. Ones with less injuries, maybe some unknowns.

Must be some reason we sought him out when there are cheaper vet minimums out there.

Definition of camp body

Camp body usually indicates someone who hasn't played much and is just hanging on.

Definitely not the case with this guy.  Didn't play much last year, and was injured in 2024, but before that, he had a significant amount of carries.  My guess is if he makes the team, he ends up being a third down back on occassion.

Look at us play and tell me we are in a different era. We are old school. Team is being built old school.
I get people mostly don’t use fullbacks any more, but then I don’t know why the hell we would need 4 TEs.

And we are not going with a bell cow back system. Two backs, 1a&1b needed for 17 games.
A QB that can’t run a sneak, now that is definitely not old school. I admit that.
I would find somewhere to cut the roster by a player if we had a real short yardage guy.

Old school made a comeback last year.  Seattle won a Superbowl going old school (defense and running the ball and make some big throws on occassion).  Maybe it will work for us.

We are kind of forced into it by the lack of a quality passing game.
