It doesn’t bother me that people are bothered by this but at the same time I don’t get why this does bother people.

Beane and McD knew people here even in the Tepper years before Morgan. They can probably get the scoop on why we let them go, if they are healthy, stuff like that. There would be a comfort level in those circumstances.

It's at the point where it feels petty and almost unprofessional on their part.  That's why it bothers me.  I don't care that they sign players we don't have anymore, because we let them go for a reason.  It's the fact that they're obviously trying to troll us that bothers me.

Good luck to him and to them, unless we're on the same field together.

Guy gave us everything while he was here, nothing but best wishes to him.

And we move on... we're just building our playoff window. The Bills are right in theirs. We need younger, they need veterans.

I bet! It's like catching re-runs of your favorite show I guess. Except somehow they've gotten better with time like Gilligan's Island or Firefly.

Well, thanks for at least trying to explain. I still don’t get it. To me, Beane and McD were like the ones that got away.

I think I see enough in Morgan, combined with their recent dysfunction up there, to not pine for Beane anymore. McD is sold though.

I don't claim to be rational in my disgust with the Bills, but I feel the disgust nonetheless.

I'm probably 45 min east of you in Bills Country, yet still can't pull myself to root for the Bills even with all the ex-Panthers. I still remind the fans that its all Panthers people in charge.

How are the wings?

When I lived in the area you could get a BIG KFC sized cardboard bucket of wings for about $5 anywhere and everywhere along with the blue cheese dressing and celery sticks to go with them.  And they were all delicious.  Of course that was close to 40 years ago.  probably selling wings for a buck a piece now.

    • Miami plays Cleveland and Atlanta has Boston.
    • There is a possibility that however people were measured it differs from what is being done elsewhere.  There were apparently a number of prospects that disagreed with their measurements at the combine... Maybe I just missed it but I'd never heard of this level of it before.
    • https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp Going by this chart that won’t get it done, at all.  both of our 5th rounders are worth 56, total.    The 51st is valued at 390. Moving to 41 takes 100 points. In the second where we are, it is basically 10 points per slot. You can get in front of TB for 60 points. Baltimore at 45.  Which who would do that for 56 points? You are on a wing and a prayer.    To realistically have a good shot at these top guys, outside of Golday, it is gonna take at least 100 points, I am thinking.  And when they go, Golday’s market probably gets a lot hotter.  Just going by the rankings/valuations, I am thinking if you realistically want to assure you get your guy it will take trading back in the first. Which is why I have been saying to do that if we can.  For example 19 is valued at 875. 21 is 800. That, plus one of the 5ths gets you to 100 points which you theoretically could use to get to 41.    I think there are going to be several good options for us at 19, if we are good with taking what is left at 21-23 we can get a good player plus fund a trade up for one of these LBs which is what I am thinking makes sense.
