I don't think anyone would argue that Bryce is even remotely on Cam's level. Tools wise, I don't think anyone has ever been better as a QB. Damn Madden Create-a-Player.

12 wins is possible with Cam but that is because it's Cam, and less because of this roster. Offensively it wouldn't have been one of his best to play with and defensively it would have been one of his mid to worst.

This is a better OL than Cam had but in no other way would our offensive roster last year at any position be the best Cam had. Cam had Smitty for more years than TMac has been in the league, and he had Greg basically his entire career.  When Cam was playing with those two they were better receivers than TMac. Would the offensive roster be competitive with his typical years?  In some ways, but position by position we had better, and overall he had many years of better skill position play, especially early. 

TMac is going to be good for a long time, but we still don't quite know how good. Rest is at best unknown. It may turn out that we have a lot of talent, but Coker has been consistently injured, XL is a bust, so what .. we're arguing Tremayne is something hot?

They have to do everything to elevate Bryce (no pun intended) because he cannot elevate the offense.

I can't name another QB who has gotten the benefit of doubt because of their protection, Cam being the big one. Bryce is just the GOAT at getting free passes and I don't think there's any way around that.

Dan Morgan had said previously before we are missing a guy who can take a play 70 yards at any given moment. Concepcion fits that description. Very explosive player. He would also solve the black hole at punt returner. He was one of the best returners in college last year. If Coker or TMac gets hurt, we have no one else at WR. Coker had yet to stay healthy.

If that pick (whoever he is) has 60+ receptions, 600+ yards, and 4+ TDs, then is he still a bad pick in your opinion? Compared to a DT that'll likely take 3 seasons to really become a guy. For DT comparison, Mason Graham had 28 tackles and 0.5 sacks. Walter Nolen had 8 tackles and 2 sacks. Derrick Harmon had 11 tackles and 3 sacks. For safeties, Nick Emmanwori had 56 tackles and 1 INT. Malaki Starks had 52 tackles and 2 INTs. Biggest problems with the defense was pass rush and coverage LB. They have been addressed with young expensive knowns. Not unknown rooks. 

This isn't about Bryce Young. It's about improving the roster. If BY flops this year, his replacement will be drafted in 2027. They can't let that guy come into the same horrible situation the previous guy did. 

I agree. It just depends on the receiver. KC Concepcion would be a reach at 19 for me. Why? Too many drops over his career. I'd pick him in the second however, with bells on. If Makai Lemon is available at 19, there would have to be a discussion.
